Solar Arrays dont properly upgrade into the fabricators the AI uses. Just normal vanilla generators that give you 4 Credits versus the AI's 28+

any ways of countering the railguns from alien civilisation as humans (both rebels and oligarchs)? my friends somehow get to higher tiers than me so me being tier 1 rebel i dont have anything to counter it

Breach faction is just way too powerful, their units bypass the artifacts from limiting powerful endgame units from other factions. I cannot find anything that beats the minecraft and terraria bosses

@mkellar 'in space' is dependent on the map, not really something you can just 'add' to already existing maps. Generally it's about teching up with relevant worker types.

@Primecomic113 road intersections should automatically turn into a regular road when connected to another road. Roads basically give boosts to civilian buildings they are next too, and are required to build civilian buildings.

i have a small issue.... im in endless and put down one spider at round like 40, its round 90 and theres like 200. is there a quicker way to remove them than reclaiming?

@blu, it might have been a bug, I was doing some testing and caught a few ways the AI was able to jump the tech tree incorrectly and I did a silent update that *should* have fixed the issue. However, if you still see it, let me know - and which team that's doing it.

@kolinski Some of you suggestions might not be possible or very difficult due to limitations of the engine / modding tools but I'll look it over and see what I can do.

I actually really love the idea of having alien flora grow but it's hard to implement and is very likely to slow down the game a bunch because it would be resource heavy. Nevertheless, I'm going to try some ideas.

I didn't realize the nydus worm was that powerful, when I play I rarely use it, I'll play test it more. Thanks for the long write-up, it's really helpful, I'm going to dive into all the issues you talked about sometime next week (I'm currently working on animations and graphics).

But it also debuffs enemy units inside by attrition, basically losing small pieces of health by time and debuff to dmg and lowering any output of resource gathering buildings. This should be only achiveable by T3 aliens when the queen is on the board. Also for the queen, give her a actual use. currently she is squishy and just dies without doing anything. She should be a support unit, buffing things around her and doing special stuff like summoning units periodically. Another complaint is the infestors, if they can shoot the blinding cloud they should do it automatocally when under fire, this makes them instantly 1000x more valuable.

And my suggestion for that would be a hive building mechanic for the aliens that basically aims to create a reason for the humans and other players to attack the alien infestation player sooner. This may not even need many new assets. My idea was a new beacon like building that starts to grow random alien flora in a radius that is passable by the aliens but not the other factions, this is basically a auto builder which builds weaker but more numerous defenses, auto builds furnaces if there are space and buffs gathering biomass, gas cells and upgrades the host limit.

Another idea, humans rely on their defences too much. I mean I would too if the enemy had a high DPI unit that could convert my guys to their side (Terrors and Infestors). This makes it plain boring for everyone as the aliens land units arew squishy and have no cover so there isnt any need to make them. the entire alien meta IS terrors. Just speedrun getting pools and dump all your money into making 500 terrors and like, 100 nightmares and you win the game, its boring and uncreative. My suggestion would be to either give the humans their units earlier then the defences or find a reason for the humans to try and take the map.

Jumping off of it, the Nydus Worm is too OP in some sense and too weak in others. The fact that the aliens have access to it from the start means all they have to do is to make some thralls to make nydus worms and like 5 builder drones and they can quickly take over the entire map. And the other thing is that I think the nydus worm should be suprise attack building, but we cant do that because if we try to bring any other units other then the suicide land units onto the enemy base they all get instantly blown up. My suggestion is to tier the nydus worm, first it has small range and small unit cap, then it grows as it is upgraded and this would make the player want to protect the worms aswell because they spent money on them. But in no way shape or form should their range be so large it covers a 1000x1000 map fully. And add a immunity time frame for the worm and units inside it so they dont instantly die when the worm gets up from the ground and turns to mush by the enemies defences.

Alright after playtesting a bit in Human Oligarchs vs Alien infestation here are my findings:

Humans are still too weak, not unit wise but time wise, upgrading tiers, gathering resources and building stuff takes far too long and in that time the alien player has already taken over the whole map.

The mod is updated now, with a progression system for the hive / infestation team, that should suppress their early game advantage.

Thanks for the feedback. How does a matchup of humans vs aliens or humans vs humans work?

I've been thinking about this since the release and procrastinating it because it requires a significant rework of the infestation team.

Anyways, it seems very necessary, so I'll work on creating a tier 0 for the infestation team so they don't have an unfair advantage. Probably will take me about 1-2 weeks.

yeah there is no balance in this mod just rush their command centre and they cant do nothing its funny that there is no other way to progress.
