Great puzzle, took me forever to solve.

If I could have solved it the way I intended, it would have been a lot more fun. I redid so much of the puzzle so many times it got a little tedious. I did eventually solve it the hard way. But most of it was similar to toncica's long walkthrough. Mine was longer. Still it was interesting with a lot of variety and some moves you don't see everyday (like the frankencube). Thanks for the entertainment.

Rather boring map. The only interesting thing is that the frankenstein cube can be coloured blue but won't jump itself.

Oh, right. ^^
I never read the description because some mappers spoil too much. :P

Nevertheless: The door! :/

no bugs there. There is more than one way to solve this map and that is intended. it even says so in the description.

(sorry for the noclips ...no time to repeat all the steps ^^)

I think pictures show more than thousand words.
The door is horrible. ...other bugs are shown in the record.
Inclusive my unintended route.

I liked the layout and look of the map. I don't feel like I did it as intended though. It just didn't feel like much of a puzzle, which is why I feel my solution is unintended. If it was then everything was just pretty straight forward.

Added a grate and a couple of ditches to safely set the sphere down and keep it from rolling away while you are busy with something else.

Theoretically a fun chamber with a neat design. I seemed to not miss any opportunity to screw up though, that was a little upsetting. Didn't count how often I had to get sphere again. I wish there was something like a sphere with edges that wouldn't roll away.

I don't understand. Didn't need half of the puzzle to solve.. I'll make a .dem for you.

Nice map, maybe you should add a grid to prevent the player being stuck in the first beam. :p2cube:

Wow. Thumbs up for using an unusual mechanism (per your spoiler of earlier today, but I did find the solution myself as someone reported this as a short-cut to one of my maps). I don't think a lot of people know about this, so you may get some down-votes from frustration. Personally, I did not have a lot of fun because I have trouble with the execution of this particular thing and it took me something like twenty tries to get it right. I would get hurled into the goo or lose something in the fizzler and each time I had to re-load the game GLaDOS would say the same damned thing again ... aaargh!

Understood.. Thank you.
Stagger Lee  [author] 29 Nov, 2013 @ 11:23am
It is one of the ways. I made it so the player can get to the middle area from either direction. That way no one can trap themself regardless of what they do or don't do.

That was great and I loved the look. The most difficult part for me was getting the ball above to the exit.
I didn't understand the back room with the flip panels/funnel. I went through it to return to the start but I did not return through it. Was I supposed too? I went back though the puzzle the same direction as before but only after getting the ball out from its starting point but using the reverse funnel. Don't know if that was right.

I was scratching my head for sure. Very good map.

Really great chamber for anyone looking for a clever challenge. Worthwhile indeed.

For anyone who is stuck and can't figure out what to do ... Spoiler:
Your Frankencube may be of more use to you if he is blue.
Stagger Lee  [author] 28 Nov, 2013 @ 6:18pm
You don't get punished for making a wrong move (which I bet you discovered based on your second message)
No matter what the player does or doesn't do, I have created ways for the player to get back to where he needs to be. Figuring it out how is the key.
M3 E 28 Nov, 2013 @ 5:09pm
o.k, I think I figured out how to do it, so that frakencube is an asset in the end as well, nice.
M3 E 28 Nov, 2013 @ 4:59pm
I almost made it to the end, I'll give it another go later. I got to, what I think is the exit, and scratched my head wondering how I was gonna get the round ball up there. I really enjoyed your momentum portion, very clever, nice addition to an old strategy.

The Good: Great map, novel puzzles. Definitely requires some different thinking.

The Bad: Later in the map you get punished for making a wrong move which is weak. I really don't feal like doing something I already did over and over again.
