Yeah, the one that displays over its head. It just reuses the same one as the lancer.

Thanks, but do you mean the flag icon?

I know this is one of your older ones, but I think it's still really enjoyable. Everything works correctly, and all the uniques provide good value but aren't even close to being overpowered. The only thing in need of an update at all for this civ is for the UU to get its own icon instead of reusing the lancer icon. Other than that though, everything about this civ is good just the way it is .

not anytime soon. There's another Burma anyway.

bro update?

Davey looks like the mod RESEED was causing the problem. I can have it loaded but if i use reseed to find a better starting location, the gems disapear. Will now play it for the first time. Thanks for your efforts

Thanks davey! I know how to get it to work in Gods and Kings so I'll just revert to that for the time being.

@yadanak I'm sorry, I don't know how to do that. Have you tried searching the internet? There must be some sort of tutorial or video that should show you how to do that. Otherwise, try to search the Civilization V steam forums (or start a new thread).

As a Burmese civ player, I really want to use this mod. Does anyone know how to get it to work on a mac with Brave New World? Thanks!

@wojorider I can't help you, I would suggest you use this Burma mod instead:

I don't know if anyone else has this problem?
Try downloading from the alternative link. There's not much else I can do for you, unfortunately.

yep, BNW no gems in city no gems listed in happiness list. I do have the Valley of Rubies in the city but not the resource. just double checked
DJSHenninger  [author] 25 Jan, 2014 @ 5:32am
@wojorider Are you sure? I changed nothing regarding the UA, let me double check and get back to you. Did you hover with your pointer over the city's tile?
wojorider 24 Jan, 2014 @ 9:06pm
does not start with gems. has valley of gems. but no benefit unless starting location has gems. so 90% of games UA useless
Warrenicus 23 Jan, 2014 @ 11:22pm
Not sure why you put a question mark behind 'tribe'. Every player chooses a wandering nomad tribe to start the game with.

I mentioned the speedy startiing mod only because I've subscribed to several other aditional civlizations to play with but yours is the only one I've found it to be in contention with.
DJSHenninger  [author] 19 Jan, 2014 @ 9:12am
@Grufflehound As your tribe? :p I'm not familiar with the 'Speedy Starting Settler' mod.
Warrenicus 19 Jan, 2014 @ 7:55am
A very nice mod but unfortunately found that if choosing Burma as my tribe, it wont allow me to use the 'Speedy Starting Settler' mod by ModBuddy. It makes the speedy settler act as a normal one.

Wow you really know about our history. Respect to u bro

It seems that every mod civilization tends to take things away to offset UA, UB, and UU.
DJSHenninger  [author] 2 Dec, 2013 @ 8:42am
@sithu5977 No problem :p
@[VuVú} Byzantine Bomb Thanks :)

This is quite good.

@Krajzen To be honest, I think people tend to overpower them ;p This one's not that special, though. It's just the BNW version of one of my earlier mods. I think I'll leave it this way, though. People have different opinions on whether a civilization is too powerful or not. Some people think some of the official civilizations are overpowered such as the Shoshone. This civilization has a lot of early bonuses. Its gold income is steady, it can acquire a Pantheon quickly and Policies quicker than other civilizations.
Other people said it was fairly balanced. I wanted to add another leader with a different trait more focused on warfare (Bayinnaung), but I'm currently too lazy to make the art or think of a nice trait :D

Very nice, high quality mod :) Although I would highly recommend making this civilisation stronger (many modded civs have problems of simply being too weak!) - for example remove defense penalty of the Manipuri Cassay, increase bous of the Lacquerware Workshop, and uhm expand Valley of Rubies (for example, I thing that taking away "start with mining already researched" and giving +1 gold from mines would be strong and interesting). Though these are only suggestions, I am pretty sure everyone would like stronger Burma ;)
DJSHenninger  [author] 29 Nov, 2013 @ 1:07am
@Murphy613 May be true, but I think there's still a significant difference. Also reminds me that I didn't give this civ an alpha icon xD
Murphy 28 Nov, 2013 @ 6:14pm
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the icon is too similar to the Roman one. That minor detail aside, this mod looks excellent - as always.

@Dwaran thnx :)
