I think they're should be a switch in the medical bay and the bridge that "unlocks" the door so people with lower level ID cards can open them.

i see now quite the unique quirks going on.
i am kinda thank full i didnt see the buttons for the shuttle most randos that do make it to the capt's seat dont get what makes it works at a glance it gives security a bit of reaction time.

i hate to sound prudent but could adding a ready to fire light or line for the torp command help with the slight confusion?

To use torpedoes you need to open the hatch. On the left terminal there is a line with the status of the hatch (closed\open). The first time you try to open the hatch, there is a slight delay before the wiring starts to work (I will try to fix it, but I'm not sure if this is possible), but аfter then works fine.

the green shuttle light display was near invisible to me at the time, also its kinda hard for me to tell when torp control is active and ready i feel maybe a light or something to show when its on is what im missing.

1) Yes it will be updated, but a little later. Most likely after the next game update.
2) The ladder to the lower engine is made so specially. To get out of there you just need to close the hatch underneath. Initially, this was done because if you stretch ladder higher, then moving up the stairs you will touch it and the character knocks on the steps with his head, looks creepy.
3) For some reason Steam deleted some of the screenshots of the ship and I did not receive a notification about the comments. Oo

Are you still updating this awesome sub? There seems to be a spot where ai will get stuck and just keep going back and forth I really love this ship also the ladder to the engine that's under the stairs is a bit buggy and in a fight, I struggle to climb out of that room after repairing it. This ship is really cool still to me even though Idk how to use the torpedos.

Players did not find the ship to simple, in fact many were intimidated by its large size at first.

I think the problem is that no monsters exist right now that really rival the ship. A ship of that size with good gun coverage is very deadly. The biggest threat to the ship was falling ice near volcanic vents in the later levels.

I can imagine the new ballast infecting plant could be quite the problem, since people didnt seem to go in the ballast much and there's a lot of electronics to take over.

Torpedo, I put the ship on "maintain position", I click "open torpedo dock", then click "launch torpedo" and it instantly blows up the back of the ship.

I do not know how to "equip" them in the dock, or that I was supposed to.

If it was a question of recharging in the dock, then I already wrote about it, they are now disposable. The function to restore the shuttle does not include replenishment of explosives. About torpedoes please in more detail. Did you launch them for the first time or equpment them in the dock? Was there anyone in the lower engine compartment at the time? On torpedoes there is a 3 second delay after launch, but the motion sensor can catch the players themselves.

I took your ship on a 7 hour campaign with 14 people and did not have any hard crashes.

When the crew is skilled the ship is very hard to sink.

The torpedo when tried to launch instantly blew up the back of the ship.

Updated. If you encounter problems updating the submarine, copy the file from
..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\602960\1990617708
to the submarine's game folder.
Now torpedoes are disposable, they cannot be reloaded in the campaign. It is also impossible to use in pvp for renegades, I will fix it later.

If I was you, I would not worry too much about how stocked or unstocked the ship is. At least in campaign mode, supplies can be bought. And I know that they will probably have a system to stock ships in normal rounds in the future.

But there is one small problem that I stumble every time - the difference in tastes among the players. There is nothing to be done. For example, half a year ago, on the old version of Svarog, medbay was filled according to the wishes of the doctors with whom I then played, they told me all the time that I did not put enough drugs. Recently, another doctor told me that there are too many objects ... And there are a lot of such moments)

As for navigation on the ship, this applies to any large ship, just the players themselves do not really like to explore new spaces. But for some reason, after 15-20 minutes of the game, they can already come from end to end with eyes closed.

There are a number of nuances with torpedoes, I have not had time to test everything yet, so far I will not say anything.

I'm a very experienced captain and I didn't need two on the bridge for this sub. And I was playing campaign mode with randoms, 14 pop server, hellish difficulty.

The biggest issue people seemed to have was understanding the full layout of the ship, a lot of my crew said it felt inaccessible, but my personal opinion was that it was fine.

I hope this sub stays around and that it gets more stable as barotrauma gets more stable, as we were unable to complete the campaign due to stability.

Torpedoes were fun btw, didnt manage to kill anything with them though.

If you want to modify the submarine in this way, I do not mind. Do I implement this? Probably not. There should already be 2 players on the team bridge by default. One controls the ship directly. The second gives orders to the team. And they can replace each other. In any case, I recommend waiting for the next update of this submarine. I will say that I have already remade torpedoes, they have become more pleasant to drive. Added a ladder from the railgun control room to the connecting compartment up. It remains to fix the torpedo hatch.
