I think it would be best have a dedicated tech for the wings, so adress various issues such as vanilla tech edits and whatnot.

If I were to take a guess, it might be due to whatever gives the wings their respective effects. Things such as particles and the like. I don't really know for certain as I'm not a mod maker and don't understand these sort of things myself. I'll definitely be looking out for if/when it gets fixed as it's a really nice and immersive flight mod and would be a must have in that case.

I am aware of the lag but idk how to fix, if anyone knows please enlighten me

Game lags super hard after just a few minutes of playing with this mod installed. The wings themselves function great (pretty much exactly like they do in Terraria), but the mod makes my fps degrade over time, basically rendering the game unplayable.

Ok so. I absolutely love this mod. Seriously it's the best tech mod ever. The flight is a lot like the beta rocket boot tech which was one of my favorite parts of the game. So obviously when they removed it I was super bummed out. I looked forever and finally I found this mod years later. I've also always loved Terraria and their wings so that's a bonus. Another bonus (there are a lot) is that the bug wings look good on every character I make! My only issue is the lag. Sadly within a few minutes of gameplay with the wings on (and flying around) my game is pretty slow, then if i leave my character standing there for a moment it gets so slow it's nearly impossible to play. I love the mod so much I'm gonna delete some other mods and see if that helps!

whats the id for solar wings

The initial version was done using an additional player generic script, however it was reported that there were player script conflicts that caused either this mod or some other mods to stop working.

instead of replacing scripts, try adding a new script with patches to the vanilla tech. you'll have to hook into init and update, though

Big lag issue in general, actually. It's a slow escalation of lag.

Big lag issue with the wings that have particles! I'd recommend to either reduce or remove the particles on the wings that have them.

Heads up that the Saturnians already have the Mothron Wings covered.
