even 3 soldier from promgram rising tide mod still almost loss to them. this mod is make codex scary than sectopod it very challenge tho .yeah you can use mindshield to counter this but for me mindshield make a game lack of challenge

I envisioned making cortana an independent Enemy, but due to my lifework situation, had to implement it only this way.(I don't have enough time..T-T)

@author On point 2 about the psionic bomb. Not impossible. A templar with the ability to switch position with a friendly unit could get the mec unit out of the psionic bomb area and a unit like a higher level skirmisher with combat presence could give an action to the templar to get the templar out of trouble. Another way to avoid the damage would be to use the psionic stasis ability on the mec which won't get it out of the area of the explosion but will protect it from damage.

psionic bomb disables robotic units so they can't avoid the explosion? That's ridiculous.

ah, very nice! I recall someone did the cortana before. So this will cause an even bigger area explosion with mechanical units involved too. Hmm, very challenging enemy mod. Thanks for this!

Would have preferred if it kept the original codex and made Cortana a researchable/buildable reward from their drops.

In theory, I did not replace the CODEX unit itself, only the archetypes and Item. And as a result of testing, the game recognized the CODEX related script as normal

To summarize the conclusions. : Yes. As I have seen, does not directly affect the campaign progress script.

This doesn't have any conflicts with the campaign progression scripts regarding Codex right?
