All painted structures are pink (ckfr), changing dye doesn't work.

I use the gun all the time to pick up structures, including CKF. I’ve never seen it not work on anything. You guys will have to provide more details. And as you can see, Steam is not the best way to get my attention. Join my discord if you still need help.

@Gimilkhad im having issues with the structure gun.. when I went to research it you have it on the front. but you missed it on the ini commands.. and in the pinned useful tools and their controls. this is what I'm talking about Structure Gun - Modes include Pickup, Demolish, Delete, and Structure Variant. Delete mode is like Demolish but gives no resources back. Structure Variant mode cycles through any additional appearances on a structure, and can copy/paste the appearances. This gun obeys the same ini settings as the Pickup and Demo guns.

Sorry i wrote that at 5am my time,tried to be as detailed as i could at the time, more detailed info here:

- Vanilla refining forges
- No stack mods (Vanilla metal)
- Increased my stack sized VIA my ini though, trying to split a stack of 2400 metal into 8 vanilla refining forges idk if that could mess with the mod?

the transfer tool (remote) seems broken, cant transfer metal to 8 refining forges infront of me, i set the range in the ini to 50 foundations and when i try to transfer it says "no available destination for metal" im standing not even a foundation away and idk what to do. wood wont transfer into forges either, but sparkpowder will transfer fine. Dedicated server.

Side note: I can weirdly enough transfer the metal from my own inventory, into my own inventory. yes you saw that right, it instantly removes and adds the metal back into my inventory lol. i can also pull the metal from the forges, i just cant transfer it to them though.

Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

I just wanted to say that me, my brother and nephew love and appreciate ALL the work you do for the modding community for Ark. I wish more people would tell all of you modders that what you are doing is great! And not complain and bitch about things you get for free.

Thank you! I hope you never feel bad about your modding.

Oh, and also: fck toxic people they can go off and die in a corner.

Not all consumables are allowed. I’ve manually allowed specific ones like cooked meat, etc. custom recipes are trickier to handle so still not added. Things like berries are excluded too

It's ok. I like your compass, but I have near 3000 hours into the game and not a one was with a compass in the UI. I wouldn't spend time adding something that only a few people might use. Thanks for responding however, that's more than you get with most of the mods for this game nowadays.

It's a decent point. Seems pretty edge-case though, giving people server admin privileges and then trying to restrict what they can do. I'm not aware of many modders that cater to that scenario, adding enable/disable options to each individual item. Most simply rely on the aforementioned Engram hiding.

I will look at adding some "DisableXTool" options in the future.

It would make it easier for servers where the people who play on the server have access to spawning in items and blocking engrams really won't stop them if they want something. But it's your mod, I've just decided to take a pass because I know the knuckleheads on my server will grab stuff I don't want them to have. I really just wanted the compass anyway, no biggie.

The game has settings that let you hide engrams. Just hide the engrams for the tools you don't want.

You couldn’t right-click to change before this update either. I had separate pickup and demo guns which means two slots on the hotbar. The only slightly inferior aspect of the radial menu I can think of is it requires two hands to switch. Right-clicking would require more actions, technically, to switch between demo and pickup, and that number will grow if I add additional functions to the gun. The radial menu lets you go right to the exact mode you want in 2 button presses, tops.

... now for one of the guns we use the most .. to swap u have to use a radial wheel .... we all love having a demo gun on our hot bar.. so we have all always had a spot on our hot bar saved for it now to swap you have to go to radial wheel again..... the simplicity of the guns is wat attracts my servers to your mod so hence the lack of understanding.. i get it you implemented new features and thats great but even if its just making them cycle via right clicking on the same gun instead of a wheel it would be better...

the main point is that most of the people on my servers wanted simplicity .. its very quick to swap between a demo gun and pickup gun by right clicking...like the original s+ guns..... we started using your mod once s+ implemented a radial wheel... then at one point on a multitude of occasions s+ made servers unplayable for hours at a time so we swapped to super structures.... they had guns so dropped this mod they recently implemented a radial wheel too ... again we went back to the simplicity of your mod

Though I will point out, if you want separate guns for each function, you can easily do that with the Structure Gun. Just make 2, and leave 1 in Pickup Mode and the other in Demo mode. Paint them different colors. Voila.

Hulk, the only thing I've consolidated was already consolidated before. In old S+ and old SS, the Pickup and Demo guns were modes on the same gun. All I've done is merged Pickup and Demolish back into 1 tool. It just happens to also have completely new modes that weren't in my mod at all, before (Variant cycler, Delete, Pickup Internal).

I figured people would prefer fewer engrams, especially if 2 of those engrams were for redundant tools.

@Hulk - the Structure Gun replaces both the pickup and demolish guns and it does now rely on a radial menu. If I can ask, why are you trying to avoid a radial menu? I'm only asking because I'd like to understand what is causing a problem for you. Is it simply that you prefer having a 'gun' that does a single task and nothing else?

dude .. i dont get it .. only reason i added this mod is because structures plus and super structures went to a radial menu .. you having different guns for everything is the only reason ... this update has me looking for yet another mod to replace this one ... i run 3 servers and all those on them are severely dissapointed with your update man ...

The rank stuff should work just like the existing rank mechanics in the game. Instead of walking up to a dino and changing the rank through the radial menu, you can just choose what rank you want to set it to in the drop down. This is a feature for Tribe Admins. Pretty sure they grey-out if you aren't one (this includes if you are a solo player and have not made a tribe)

Okay, I have tested them slightly so far, and here is some feedback. So, the inventory assistant is just a copy of the S+ one at this point. But What I think could be added to it is a filter for certain armor/weapon types/tiers to be spared/gotten rid of. So for example, I want to keep all flak, but I want all Cloth to be thrown out.
I tried the S+ one at a time, and that had this issue for me. It ended up throwing out mod weapons that didn't have a damage value and so it was deemed less than primitive.

Best of all is if it actually could read weapons and gear in inventory and add those to a spare list if I wanted.

Alright the Awesome Spyglass should be equippable from the Selector, along with any other items that work similarly. Hopefully no further issues there

When I said it doesn't budge, I mean no interaction possible aside from ALT+F4. You can't quit the game sinc esc doesn't work either

Just a warning for what might be others like me. Using the item selector to pick on a modded item (in this case the awesome spyglass) will freeze you. The HUD won't budge but the game will still play (aka food drains, time passes, etc) so be careful

I've considered it before (quite a bit, actually), but I don't want to introduce something that would/could conflict with S+ or one of its spin-offs. I'm sure there are people out there that run both (I am one of them). The pull system is also quite complex, and I feel I'd be biting off more than I could chew there.

The goal of this mod is to make unique tools, or enhance existing ones. Some of them are functionally the same (like the Euthanasia gun) and I only added them to make the tool collection more "complete" if someone does use it in place of S+.

I've also considered doing it as a standalone mod, but another modder, Hulk, has already done that with his "HGPlus Resource Pulling" mod.
