When I played for the first time, got off the heli, picked up the thermal sight and 6.5mm suppressor (hoping I would find a 6.5 lmg later) that the asst. autorifleman have in his backpack, I knew they usually have those items and I like to use them.
With the thermal I could spot someone on the town and the squad get ready to combat 400m from the town, we killed most of them before entering the town and everyone is alive. So I get the message saying he was dead and to find a truck

My fisrt thought was about some addons conflict, so I disabled and tried again but didn't worked. Later on I noticed that his death was intended for the story and everything. Next try I let everyone go in front to die.

Everything fine from there on, haven't finished yet, died twice in the airfield

Not wanting to give too much of a 'look behind the curtain', but the squad leader dies when he enters the town. There's a large zone which will kill him dead when he enters and trigger the rest of the mission. It's the story behind the mission.

If that didn't happen, then something went wrong.

If it did happen, then - yay - working as intended.

If you were getting messages telling you to find a truck before he died, then I may need to look into that.

Can't find the unlocked truck, but can keep everyone in a 200m radius alive due to aura of awesome,... ok, then

Only can proceed if the squad leader dies, wich I could avoid without much effort

"Check around for a usable vehicle", all vehicles locked... ok, then

This is quite a Helo heavy set of missions.

I scored a partial victory, and I settle for that. Flying and landing helo's is not my forte. That's why for me it was a tough mission; but a very nice mission: lots of surprises and strong enemy. I liked this mission very much, thanks.

That'll be arma...or maybe steam... they're experimenting with making subscribed missions available offline - I'm not convinced it's working properly yet. Sorry you're having a problem, but it's not something I can fix, I'm afraid.

can you not save and load on a different day? because i was playing yesterday and intended on coming back today to finish the mission but i cant load, is that ARMAs fault or the scenario?
