Can I create a submod that translates your mod into Korean and post it in the workshop?
It seems that the old korean translation link is not connected, so a new submod is needed.

Hey DonkeyWorld great mod!
Definitely adds a great flavor to the campaign story line.
I can help with Korean translation but my only issue is I have ZERO knowledge about modding,scripts,etc. If I can still help in any other way I would love to help.
There is also a very big Korean Total War online community I can seek for extra help if needed.
Your mod would be loved in Korea. Let me know!

@DonkeyWorld I indeed did have the datapack up and copied a lot and made minor edits. It's really difficult to explain like this, so I understand if it may get nowhere.

I did not manage to produce an event unfortiunantely.

@Guvenoren - Sorry I missed your response months ago, don't know if you found anything but no I don't know of any templates like that. When modding, you'll want to have the database.pack loaded up too so you can see how the full normal table looks. Learning everything was a bit of trial by fire.

@Dead213End - Multiple wives was never part of this mod. And the generals are meant to trigger frequent dilemmas. Otherwise, there's not enough interactions to make it all meaningful. You're meant to be rewarded or penalized for grouping people who like/dislike each other. I'd rather emulate this through several medium-sized events than the occasional huge one.

its been awhile since i played. but correct me if im wrong, weren't you able to marry multiple wives with this mod or was that just a triggered event. also it feels like the my generals are constantly triggering relationship dilemma's. prob needs to be adjusted.

I am an experienced modder, I know the tools. I just don't understand why the events don't appear at all. I followed a vanilla event, and I find it bizarre that it doesn't appear. I had 4 different modding templates for the job.

It's a lot for me to ask, but you don't happen to know of a great modding template to use? Like a mod that adds like 1 event?

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time for modding or tutorials at the moment. My recommendation is to start with existing event based mods and modify them so you can see how they work. You'll need something like Rusted PackFile Manager to go through the tables.

You can add events for playing a specific faction, but I don't remember what you need off the top of my head. I recommend looking at the tables in my mod, then looking at those same tables in the unmodded version. It's a bit of a grind to figure out variable names.

@Beans - I appreciate the offer, but I'm not (at least not JUST writing). For any new flavor text, I'm also adding in-game effects, which are both more time consuming and less enjoyable than the writing aspect. So adding a writer wouldn't save much time and it would make the project less enjoyable for me.

This mod doesn't add any historical events to the game. They're all generalized and based purely on traits.

Do these enable Liu Bei / Cao Cao event when Cao Cao finds out about Liu Bei's involvement in the plot/Imperial Decree by Emperor Xian to kill Cao Cao, that was given to Dong Cheng?

I already started over so that's not a big deal, but I think I'm gonna take what you said about how this mod is meant to be used into account. If nothing else it'll give me a reason to strategize more in terms of who I'm picking up out of the recruitment pool.

I used a mod to get her. But it was almost 20 turns after I got her that it started happening. It was crashing no matter what save I tried to load into.

As for the crashing - I have no idea but thanks for reporting. Maybe if there is an ongoing custom effect from an event, its crashing when trying to load it? That would be odd, but I guess possible. Otherwise, everything else is turn-by-turn events so there's nothing missing for it to crash over. Do you run any other mods?

Did you pick up Zheng Jiang after annexing/destroying her faction? It's pretty rare to see a person rival everyone in one's factions (and this mod wouldn't be responsible for something so sweeping as relationships change 1 by 1).

Rivalship reduces relationship by 60 with leader and 40 with others so there would be more to such a large drop (maybe recruiting other unfriendlies from same faction?). That said, this mod definitely runs counter to a "recruit everyone" style. It's supposed to encourage players to make a strategic choice on whether a great character is worth the headache of making everyone else less happy (whereas in vanilla, its extremely easy to keep everyone super happy so there's no real decisions).

Not sure if this is a known bug, but I had 3 straight turns of Zhang Jiang becoming rivals with different members of my court, including my faction leader. This completely ruined my campaign since now everyone every single character in my court went from somewhere in the high 80s-low 90s in satisfaction to low 30s- high 20s in three turns. So I tried uninstalling Guanxi because that's a bit too much uncontrollable RNG for me (no offense, great mod otherwise) and starting from before all that craziness happened. I load back in to the game alright but when I try to hit end turn I get a hard crash to desktop, with a new blank save made outside of my file for this run. It doesn't say anywhere that this mod will break saves if removed. Hopefully I'm the only one this has happened to, but either way I wanted to let you know.

Yeah, that's pretty brutal. I lowered it from a "large negative event" to a "medium negative event" so it will be less harsh in terms of both length and satisfaction hint.

FYI, it's happening because of Cao Cao's suspicious trait matching up against Empress He's either greedy, ambitious, or aspiring trait.
