Oh yeah will definitely play more to improve my designs and actually chill to enjoy the game once again, just vented out that in the end game whatever you do even the beefiest computer can't handle the game is frustrating because for me that's the most fun exploring and colonizing new planets.

also they could find workarounds for modding sure it wouldn't be as easy and accesible for people but libraries for c++ do already exist and no reason for being not complete they're not a small studio anymore.

If they used unreal they could't have a game this complete, and the game could'nt be moddable.
Also, I think you should try playing on smaller maps, and optimize your duplicant pathfinding etc. to win some fps.
But that's all you can do, the game is not well optimized for end-end game

I already have it, and have one of the most powerful computers available of latest gen. (7800x3d) and 32 gbs of ram I still can't keep bearing it's up to a point I halted playing the dlc. I was getting 20 fps and micro stutters everywhere with speed mod reduction it was a lot better but I don't think I want to play it anymore I still did up to a fair 4000 cycle and colonized 2 planets and it was a terrible experience that could've been heaven of sim games. it's sunken cost fallacy.

+ if the game was made in unreal instead of unity the performance difference would be day and night and that if they utilised the other cpu cores instead of singlethreading, but I also understand if they won't and make a new game similar because it's better off at this point to write it all from 0.

The game is made in Unity and some part of the code are in c++ for optimization. You should install the Fast Track mod from Peter to optimize the game

In an ideal world I'd use this for what actually it states for but it isn't, so I use it to slow down the time after cycle 2000. else the game gets freakishly laggy due to it being very poorly structured. I just wish this game wasn't made in unity or very poorly made/singlethreaded possibly in multithreading c++ this game would be "it" amongst the all colony survival sim.

No it's not but the game wasn't made for so much speed and moe than x15 don't really works

is the game hardcapping the speed depending on the configuration of my computer ? my x30 dont look that fast feels more like x10 (even tho my computyer isn't running hot and has some processing power left)

@KANSEI No sry, x30 is already not working so much, the game doesn't handle well high speed, it really needs performance update.

There is bug but I don't know if is from mod or ONI cap it self, but increase speed make dupes drope your carries items/critters on latters or fire poles.

If you built automation at the base speed, and then switched to time acceleration, then the automation will not work correctly.

Yes you can't put it faster than 30, it doesn't work with the game engine and doesn't really make it 30 times faster.
