Happy New Year BTW :)
Could you do a dark even mod that adds some events that can increase boss pods/monster appearances like Sectopods and rulers?
It feels like I got to hunt for Sectopods to actually fight them outside of a few select missions.
For me, I started using "Mission Mania [WOTC]" Mod that allows for 2 council missions and 2 retaliation missions per month, and sometimes you get a 2nd guerrilla ops. This allowed me to level up more soldiers quicker before too many dark events became active.
I like @videogamerlink's idea of starting Dark Events and having some automatically kick based on force level (similar to LW2).
These Dark Event variations continue to add spice to the game. Keep them coming please!! :-)
Even more, if it would be possible to slowly add to the deck of dark events as the force level increases to further prevent irrelevant dark events from spawning (please let me know if this logic already occurs).
If it is possible and you don't have time or interest to investigate, I'll try and fail until I'm able. I just think it would be cool to start with additional pressures. I'm on the side of a lore-ish campaign so restricting guerrilla ops to vanilla is fine with me.
Sounds good to me, just make sure to test and see if that line works first. (I don't want to mislead people here)
There is a config line for that but its not currently in this mod so you'll have to do it manually by editing your inis, its in XComGameData.ini titled MaxNumGuerillaOps, by default its set at 3 so set that to whatever you want.
(Please note that I haven't actually edited this line myself, but every other line in this file works so this one probably works as well)
Also make sure to edit the file in
"Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config"
Not the files in the steam folder because if you edit those and then need to reset your inis back to the default you'll have to reinstall the game or Verify Integrity it.
There is no need of a mod. Just go in the soldier menu, then select "customize", then select "character info", then select"biography". You can rewrite the biography as you see fit and also change the title, which contain the country and the date of birth. You may also need to change the flag by changing the "nationality" , also in the "character info" menu.
