@balrok99 Compared to the other "Historical Knight" adding mods your's is the most original and cool, especially due to the original Teutonic Knight's helmets but, is there a chance of an SFO submod being made for your mod in the future?

First off, great work. the units look outstanding. though i have some gripes. the cost that they require in upkeep doesn't justify their underwhelming stats, so I rarely employ them when I really want to. kind of a letdown really.

@Andrista I might be wrong BUT since these knights are under knight category they should benefit from Knight tech. And maybe also from traits and effects affecting knights.
Not sure tho. I might add Lord specific for crusaders. Old Style with his entire squad. So he and only he can buff his crusaders.

Oh i meant how specific traits (glorfinial's progeny for knights, worshippers of the grail for footmen) could boost stats for specific units. It would be silly to place knights and militia in the same trait lol

@Andrista - I dont think traits that are aimed for peasants would be good idea to aplly on knights as well. If you also mean adding them to peasant economy then It would need make a script. But I am not ready to move to the Scrip territory just yet.

@balrok99 try to remove the custom attribute groups and revert them to vanilla. Fixed nearly ll my unit mods. I know not a perfect solution but it works.

@Gorgos - Thank you :) I will have a look at them :) more variants the better :) I wish I could make wsmodels and cut things from models.
Also, you can see smoother helmets on Teutonic knights :) so dents or no dents it will fit.

Lovely units mate :)

You can use this variant of the helmet for avoiding coif clipping since in this model i removed the coif to make it compatible with such torso models you use in this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2053802936

This helmet doesn't have the battle scars and dents though so I dunno if it fits your artstyle.

@Kentvrio - Well my point is that it is a French order of knights. Of course, members can be from far and wide. But the order as a whole is what matters. Just like you can have a British company but 80% of workers are from Poland, France or Germany. But it is still a British company.

I'm afraid I don't agree. While we do not have records definitively saying where most members came from, the concentration in France appears to be more due to logistical needs and unity of command. The headquarters was in France, the majority of grandmasters were French, and it was the most centrally located country with temples. Generally, the Templars tended to attract those from warring parts of Europe like Iberia, southern Italy, the Balkans, the HRE, and Poland. Only certain French nobility seem to have been especially keen on joining. If I had to give it a number I would say at most 15% of the order at any given time was French.

@Kentvrio - I know Templars were not only French. They also were in England and in other countries like Spain, Italy or Germany. But MOST of the Templars were on French soil. Or should I say most of their strongholds were in France. Some were even in Scotland or in Ireland. But since they originated in France it is logical for them to be mostly in their home country. I believe that in Knightfall they even mention their Templar brothers from England. And when Knights of Lazarus shows up they also have temples in France.
