Hello Nyxyx,

I love this mod.
I play with it on almost all my maps.
However there is one issue.
My CO´s won´t recognize it.

Any chance that U can fix it?

Working for me, using Steam Trawler. However i think the energy consumption is way too high and meat export size is too big and/or fills too fast.

Hi, love this mod! I seem to be having an issue though. Every so often, a ship assigned to collect from it just starts going in circles at the entrance to the area and it blocks all other ships assigned to this building. I wonder, am I doing something wrong, or there something happening in the mod itself?

That's not a bad idea, but right now I'm very wrapped up in getting some aircraft mods ready for the next update. I'll remember it though.

it does have a pedestrian connection that can be used by construction offices; the game just has a glitch that requires you to zoom out to see it. You're supposed to use ships to pick up the fish, it says in the description.

Hi NKVD, currently for big buildings there is an issue where footpath connections can disappear. To see it again you need to zoom out.

The underwater section is intentionally long, you should be pointing it out to open ocean. It, however, should not be blocking other ship traffic, nor should it be visible unless you hover over it. Could you post a screenshot of your issue either here or directly to me so I can resolve it?

for me the footpath connection disappears after building is built also the area underwater is extremely long and blocks the waterway. the boats can't collect the meat, there is the yellow triangle showing a random part of that large underwater structure.

The mod works the way it does because the game has a restriction in scripting, in that to produce any resource, you MUST have workers. That is why the lighthouse needs workers. If it were up to me the lighthouse wouldn't need any at all.

I understand and sympathize with your confusion regarding what exactly is going on here; please understand that I am already using a lot of fakery to get this mod to work at all, and the restrictions on the game's moddability make it difficult to give a more intutitive experience.

Hey, so, the only way to collect the fish from this building is by boat; there are no road or rail connections. The "storage" is actually just how many fish are living, uncaught, in the sea, and the "production" of meat by the lighthouse is just how quickly they replenish after being caught. The ships you send out to load the meat are supposed to be fishing ships, which you can get here on the workshop. Sadly there are no appropriate ships in the base game. The speed with which the ships load the meat is supposed to be representitive of how long it takes to actually catch the fish. Typically fishing ships have their own mini-factory on board that processes the fish into meat, so I made the lighthouse produce meat rather than livestock accordingly. (also it would look weird pulling cows out of the ocean)

so here's how it's designed to work:

Fish in sea > Ship catches Fish > Meat in Ship > Meat taken to Dock

if the fish is already caught and not salted / dried / smoked, then it is not stored for long, so it would be more logical to make the lighthouse storage small. If you mean storing fish live - this requires a lot of space and a certain amount of food. It is better to make a storage of about 5-10 tons or something like that for greater balance and logic. My logic is as follows: 1. fish is caught 2. fish is folded in a small volume so that it does not rot. 3. The truck periodically picks up the fish and takes it to the refrigerator. (Thanks for the mod and response, it would be great if you listened to these tips. Sorry for the errors in the text, I used google translator.)

ok. It was made with small fishing vessels in mind, but you can only get those through mods. So I will change the production values and the loading rate.

The storage is the ocean, not the lighthouse, so it makes sense to be very large.

it produces too much meat. 300 tons in about 1-2 days. It would be great if that were fixed. + The storage (refrigerator) is also too large, it should be very small (I do not think that there are refrigerators in the lighthouses).
