Thanks Aggelus. you have my blessing. Please make this ship great again. if you can take a video of the ship in action that would be great. My computer is old and I am afraid I can no longer on into the game to visit my ship again. i am really sad about that.

His work was impressive, so I struggled to get it back, unfortunately with all the changes that make the world very heavy.
I should continue with the fixes soon, most likely players who have had slower computers will have a hard time opening this world.

wow Agelus thanks for fixing up the ship. I build this over many weeks during the begining part of Space Engineers. It was before space engineer had weapons that fire. We had place holder for cannons and missile. But there was a gav genarator. Which I used to create the main cannon

I was able to recover the body of the ship, and I am already making the necessary repairs so that this model of Yamato can fly.
I have installed new cannons, reactors and new propellers, but it will take time to get ready, since it is a huge ship and requires a lot of planning.

oh, silly me, I just noticed you were using that movie for inspiration, hahaha. But the interior is the bigger thing, I think right now. I'm still trying to figure out, hmmm, I wonder if Darth's Titan engine can't be modded to make a wicked 'wave motion cannon'. Just make the flame like 5k long, and doing nuke type damage at that distance. heheh. Obviously, not used for 'stopping power' like a normal thruster.

I like it still. Subbed. Even if just to mess around with it and see what I can do to make it more 'livable'. It did have to have a crew, lol. Something you could do, is check out 2199 - Space Battleship Yamato, the live action movie, and see if you ccould use that for inspiration for the interior. Still, love this model, even with the limitations of the blocks, it's quite an interesting build. Also, with the ingame large ship glass, you can really bring your bridges up to speed, even with the sloping angle of the bridges as they actually are supposed to be. 1x2 sloped glass, for example. Nice work.

@70R4 Thanks. Yeah I was thinking about going back to doing that. Some of those mods will really bring this baby to life. Will try to get to it soon. I am actually building another yamato that is more in tune with the original. As this one is heavy modifed

Just a thought, ,you could use the dragon thrusters, which are all flush mount style thrusters modded by Embershard, as well as the armored thruster units by Darth Biomech for all of your maneuvering needs, without breaking the lines of your ship and ruining it's flow. Also, for forward thrust, you should check out the Titan engine modded by Darth, or the orange variant (which might be more accurate) by Embershard. Check the workshop, and when you see mods that will work, just subscribe. When people download your ship, the mods will automatically be downloaded, so they don't have to chase down extra files to make things work.

Nice job on this though, very creative layout to keep the proper lines.

@james the video is a bit dated. Since there there are heavy armor blocks and also the warhead does not do as much damage as before.

Gamilas ships would be nice. I would love to build the 3 deck carrier

Now we just need some Gamilas ships, I made a tri-deck carrier in Minecraft so I wonder if it would be worth trying to copy exactly in space engineers? There is so much potential for creating more Space Battleship Yamato themed spacecraft in this game.

Can't wait for it to be finished, but what I want is a more to scale ship, THIS one is AWSOME, i can say that, but I want or we need a more accurate model with bigger turrets like in the show.

@Flameboy 102 .....ooooo Wave Montion Gun.....the next best thing now would be to create a rocket tube that stacks and have the fire control below the deck. Anyways I am going to re make the turrets that is gonna take some time too....thing is my computer lags when I load up the file I am still waiting for them to optimize the game.

Making it from heavy armour would be amazing, but it would probably require some patience. You'd also have to ignore the camoflage pattern in the blocks. You'll have to petition them for a Wave Motion Gun. :p

I just watched Captain Harlock, the film in 3D and this is the shizzle. Totally nonfunctional in space (srsly, why are all the guns on the top) but totally awesome.

yep, I wish that the new update was about the large ship weapons, but it's not.:(...
But at lest multi player is out! hope that your ship gets tested out in battle, abd i think it will be BEAST. now all we need is the big ship weapons and heavy armor bloks....

@shuao23 yes sometimes the boarder goes away but they always come back. I think it is a memory issue. My PC is kinda old.

When you were building this ship, did you have any problems like the blocks or the block borders turning invisible? Because my Space Engineer is just giving me a bunch of that when I build large ships

well, the Andromeda is a ship from the space battleship yamato tv show during season 2. the Andromeda is slightly larger then the yamato, with two wave motion guns on the front. it has 4 triple barrel cannons, 2 on the front, 2 on the back. based on how aewsome this ship you built is, i think the building the Andromeda is right up your ally.

@hkron3 Nope. Those are awesome as well however. The ones I'm refering to are of the Comet Empire (Gatlantis). We'll see them if they remake series 2. Which I really hope they do.
