It works now. Had to uninstall the full game, and reinstalled all add-ons I had before. Oddly it works now.

I have got some other add-ons for sniper rifles, but this shouldn't be the problem , right?

The Red Camo M16 is the only add-on for the M16.

@Loris make sure you have only one m16 mod ON. Check your addons in game to make sure the Red M16 mod is only ON not any other mod is on for M16. If it happens again look at the console and take a picture so I can take a look.

The skin looks really good, but since I downloaded this skin Left 4 Dead 2 keeps crashing at every time I try to join a server.
