Played with a buddy of mine. We both loved it!

Phenomenal puzzles. My friend and I really enjoyed them.

The "confusing" cube sign at the very end made us think that last one was way harder that it was, but it's no big deal.
The easier way to solve these is to make progress little by little instead of trying to think everything through upfront anyway, which is a strategy that would render the confusing sign a non-issue.

11 years after the initial release of this map:
- 6k ratings (93% positive)
- 15k subs
- 85 times added as favorite (+ 15 that have been removed again) ^^

Looks like this experiment was a success.
I remember putting a lot of time and effort into this map. =)

It is great to see, that people seem to enjoy the map. Cheers!

Not a bad map, not a bad map at all. We overthought WAY to hard when it came to it, but I enjoy maps that makes me over think, gives it more challenge. I'll agree the one floor panel needs to be extended, as it can only be shot at a certain angle, but other than that it was well done, and very detailed! Thanks for the Experience!

This map needs to be fixed, you can only shoot at the ground from a certain angle which took us forever to find out. We had shot the surface plate before in the last riddle but never at the right angle.

Nicely done!

This is a very nice map. My friend an I have tought on it for more than 2 hours, but we still can't finish the last chamber. We put the cube on the button and the vertical light bridge has workd, but how can I get to the second floor and jump into the portal? We are Chinese players and we couldn't watch your video. Could you please give us more hint? We just want to finish this map. Sorry for my poor English.... :steamsad:
DrFauli  [author] 30 Jul, 2017 @ 11:51pm
The signage next to the door does indeed show a cube that has to go on a button.
But it was meant to show that the cube is sitting on the correct button, as soon as
you activate the light bridge (since the other player would have direct view onto
the exit, when the cube is placed there)

But I do realize that players get confused by that signage.
When I made the map in 2013 it made sense for me to build it like that,
but today I would rather use a symbol to show which button to use (or antlines). :)

So... the signage is not wrong, it just is confusing, because there is a button right
next to the exit - and you are not the first one to think the cube is needed there. =/
Jatopian 30 Jul, 2017 @ 11:08pm
Ah, speaking of the signage... The sign near the door seems to say that a cube should go on the button there.
DrFauli  [author] 30 Jul, 2017 @ 10:46pm
ah yes, I see. The signage is there to show what it does, but other people
also reported the same thing. If you don't pay attention to the signage enough,
then the last room is quite confusing. =/

Thanks for the feedback - that is something I will have to change in the future.
Jatopian 30 Jul, 2017 @ 2:03pm
Sorry if that was unclear. The door did open for us. We finished the map. It was just confusing how it worked, and we wasted time trying to figure out how to get the cube to the exit, when it was not necessary (and probably not possible).
DrFauli  [author] 30 Jul, 2017 @ 2:36am
hm, the cube just needs to be on the button, that activates the light-bridge.
That button does open the exit and both players just have to get there.

Not sure why the door would not open for you, I had no such problems in
the past years while playing and testing that map. Played it with someone
last week and it all worked fine... hm.
Jatopian 29 Jul, 2017 @ 4:05pm
This was fun, but we got stuck on the last chamber because the door seemed like it needed the cube on that button that turns off the fizzlers. Especially since it didn't have the little indicator of whether the camera could see each player, and instead had the checkmark indicator.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. :o)

Third room is still tricky and a bit misleading but you just need to pay attention. All the clues are there. Don't change it.
Ick Am Su 1 Mar, 2017 @ 6:31pm
Super fun. Took us a long time but we figured it out. Great job!
Juesto 17 Aug, 2016 @ 3:35pm
awesome map.
the third room is not easy to figure out. you cant fire the first floor from any angle making it harder. i had to watch the video.

Very nice coop map.
Spaceminnow 18 Jun, 2015 @ 7:22pm
We had a good ime playing this map. A magical thing happend... My partner placed the cube thru the grating and then it launched to the button we needed for the vertical light bridge. I am glad that happend..... the rest of the puzzle was striaght forward from there :)

Just to let everyone know:
I have updated the map and added some custom signage in the last room, so it should be very clear what to do in the last room and how it is done. Thanks for the feedback, again!
I also made some changes to the visleafs (performance improvements)
josepezdj 7 Sep, 2014 @ 12:45pm
Oh, I almost forgot: the layout was specially good in all chambers, truly. Loved the size of those chambers and the placement of the elements and side rooms. Very very well thought out ;)
josepezdj 7 Sep, 2014 @ 12:43pm
Awesome map! I had the pleassure to test it with the author today, and it was an amazing trip. I loved the whole atmosphere and lighting, and puzzles were really clever; nice difficulty balance as well.

Thanks for creating, man!

Cheers! :)

I liked that one! Great job. We did get a little stuck, but not forever, just for shorter times while standing around going "hmmmm"
DrFauli  [author] 5 Jul, 2014 @ 3:05pm
Very nice feedback - i guess that's the kind every mapper wants to hear. =)
Thanks for your kind words and I am glad, that you enjoyed this map so much.
warnightify 5 Jul, 2014 @ 1:01pm
Yes! Just the difficulty level I was looking for. It was the most enjoying coop map I've ever played in a while. Also I liked the details. Thanks for mapping this. Coop maps like this are really rare.
Flup 5 Jul, 2014 @ 12:58pm
Just finished playing this map and I am very impressed! This map perfectly replicates the details from the 3rd coop course so it looks like an actual campaign map (and even better than that).

But what is usually more important for me in coop is having fun with a testing partner. And that's what exactly I've got in this map. I like both solving and making good puzzles. But it's never fun to be frustrated when trying to figure out something in coop.

That's why I love this map so much - it let us to have fun while solving puzzles, which weren't that hard, but they kept us busy for 20 minutes. So that's a perfect difficulty balance.

+points for letting me do some ninja flings with cubes and bridges in this map :D:
DrFauli  [author] 20 May, 2014 @ 3:06pm
My playtesters also reported that issues, but I always assumed players would test that jump at least once and figure it out that way. (Which worked for the playtesters)
But thanks for the feedback - I know it is not so obvious.
taplonaplo 20 May, 2014 @ 2:05pm
Would have been nice if it was telegraphed better in the last section that with sufficient speed you can fly over the fizzler in front of the slanted platform. We got stuck for quite a while for assuming that the person controlling the lightbridge cannot be the first to fling.

Okay, I have just uploaded the full video solution for this map.
DrFauli  [author] 8 Dec, 2013 @ 4:13am
@Topsy Kreets: Here is a little hint for you:
Look at all the signage again, it will tell you what to do and where.

I am gonna record the complete solution for this map today and upload it within
the next few hours. So if you are still stuck, just wait for the video, I will add it here.
Topsy Kreets 7 Dec, 2013 @ 9:46pm
Me and my Partner had fun in this, BUT we could not for the life of us figure out the last chamber. We tried for ages. Would appreciate hints, but all we could get was the light bridge. Velocity wasn't our friend (not sure if it was supposed to be). Would really like to finish it -.-
