That's nice to know. It's probability since Old World Blues is a overhaul of the game. I could not get the mod to work even with new codes for base game.

I'm pretty sure it does, although the AI does not tend to choose the best agents. I'm also not sure if the AI even researches the upgrades, I don't think it does though.

Version number updated. Please note the mod is currently working and does not need any internal change at the moment and should not require constant version number updates for it to work in the future.

I've stopped playing HOI4 for sometime now. But I do update the mods if someone asks me to. Also I've updated the mod to the current version and changed the codding so that the mod should remain working even if PDX decided to change some code for the base game, as the mod should no longer depend on the same files in base game.

But let me know if this or my other mods needs and update and I'll check to see if it really does need an update to function for the game's latest version.

I see, thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to add a disclaimer letting others know the mod will be incompatible with Silence Suzuka's mod.

FOUND THE BASTARD! It's the SuperEasyMod by Silence Suzuka. Apparently it modifies the same files as your mod to give bonuses based on the difficulty you choose at the start of your game.

Yep, even found the mod that was the problem. Luckily it wasn't one of my core mods that I will always run, unluckily I got rid of it before I could jot down the name to let you know so if any other idiots like me come at you.

Checking the file and running the mod. On a clean save the first 5 agent slots do appear for me.

Are you running the game with the mod active on a clean/new game? If it's applied mid game the mod will not work.

If the mod is active but nothing happens on a new game, please try unsubscribing and resubscribing to re-download the mod and re-enable it on the launcher playlist.

I've been using your mod for a while and it's been great. One thing I've noticed is that when I create the Agency I don't get the first 5 agents you're supposed to get.

There is not much I can do about capture rate as the files I use to make this mod does not have anything pertaining to agent capture rates. Although, it looks like there is still the possibility that I could use the Suicide Pill upgrade and boost it's modifiers to make it so that the agents have a stronger detection chance offset and/or suicide rate. I usually run with out the pills though because I don't want my Lv2 Agent with 4 skills to kill themselves on capture. That being said, I can push out a update that boosts the Suicide Pill Detection Offset from -0.05% to 25% or more if that sounds Ok with you.

I'm not certain of other traits appearing less due to the commando trait, since agents can spawn with multiple innate or earn-able traits like Seducer and Commando together. The traits to my knowledge are independently generated from one another and the earn-ables can be learned by the agent randomly, there doses not seem to be a limit to the traits an agent can have.

While the idea of diplomacy sounds great, I'm afraid that is outside my skill set to make for this mod sadly.

Actually there may be something. Not enough playtime to say it with 100% certainty, but I feel other traits appear less frequently than in the original game - perhaps at the expense of Commando being more frequent. Also, as somebody already mentioned, very frequent arrests are a menace (maybe higher death risk instead would work better?). It's probably far beyond the scope of the mod, but it would be cool to have alternative options to free our agents via diplomatic options - diplomatic pressure, ransom, exchange prisoners?

I'm afraid I don't know if it will work for those mods. My guess would be yes, as to my knowledge those mods do not have anything to do with agents in general. But this is uncertain, if you do try it, please let me know if anything bad happens.

Not necessarily, I have had about three agents caught in India by the British Raj, who did not even have any agents or an agency.

if more of your agents get caught its probably because the nation you infiltrate also have more agents and can put some defending.

I think its a bit too much additional agents given the mechanics, maybe just doubling the operative given by upgrades would be enough (preventing very small nation to have 5 spies straight off)

The mod does not modify the capture rate of agents only the the recruitment amount. Checking on PDX files that my mod alters, there has no changes that would require an update or produce a bug from this mod.

Beware, at least for me... Your spies are captured often, and killed right away. I don't know if this is intentional or a bug. Having 5 spies captured within 2 months time is waaaay to often in my opinion. I can't reach the % to start a rescue mission cause every spy is caught within a month or two? I am not using any other mods that are spy related.

the debug command in console adds agency-related options, one of them being slot machine which makes your operative slots 10, but i've only used it on this save after i realized this mod wasnt working, it lasts for 720 ingame days and then removes the operative slots and it goes back to 2 or 3 if you're a spymaster or aren't a spymaster

it also can't be because the mod is disabled, the mod is enabled from the launcher so it's probably an unforeseen conflict

Any mod that changes agencies, namely under the Common/intelligence_agency_upgrades and common/modifiers -00_static_modifiers.txt. Targeted mods or big overhaul mods tends to change or use those which may cause a conflict.

Looking at that agency icon mod, it does not use the files in this mod, so there is no conflict there. What do you mean by "debug's slot machine"?

what could conflict with this mod?
only la resistance mod related to agency that i have is immersive agency icons or whatever it was called

I went to test it just now. It works, I got 5 slots for agents upon forming the Agency while using agency.autocomplete. Did you start a new game or have a conflict with another mod?

Hm, I was under the impression they spawn with it... I guess this just means they learn it exceedingly fast if that's the case.
