If you're looking to wear crowns and such, for lower tiered royal pawns try this mod:
Satisfactory Royal Tiers
I came across it while looking for this mod
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2457237725
Hope it helps anyone!
Thanks for your work!
error fix
thanks Jernfalk
1 - Go to the folder: "YourLocation\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2008359342\Defs\RoyalTitles".
2 - Open "RoyalTitles_Empire.xml" with a notepad.
3 - Erase all lines that say "<needFallPerDayAuthority>0.#</needFallPerDayAuthority>" (where # is a number from 1 to 4), there should be only 4 of those, starting at Knight.
4 - Save and reload Rimworld.
@Elardi
smh just untick the jobs you don't want in priorities...
I mean it's not just "unlock all job".
Only allow some job if noble Interested in it.
For example:
Count can not do any job.
But if he is interested in "Smith", only let him to do "Smith" job.
Can u make a option to choicece("unlock all job" or "Allow Interested Job")?
Can you make anothor version
Under the rules of vanilla
Allow nobles to work if they are interested
Now for the only opinion that really matters:
I appreciate your work--thanks for the mod, yayo!
You don't have a point, you have an opinion.
I would care an Noble man if he could turn the tide of a battle by himself using his powerfull abilities.
Making the Nobility not work is a way to balance the game, I'm ok with the mod, I'm not ok with people like you who think Powerfull Nobility with Psychic powers that are great fighters should be also workers.
Its either have an great worker or an great fighter, if you want to ruin the balance, so be it, but don't go around saying "I hate how the powerfull fighter Nobility isn't working! The Dev should bend the knee to my will becose in history Nobility did work and [olther usless shit that dosen't matter]".
Wow, what an cowardly cop out,
I guess I pinned you to the wall and since you were out of bullshit to spew you just went the
"Nope, you are nitpicking and biased, I win, bye bye" route, very brave of you Count Astrurias.
Or have someone else take care of that?
You act as ingame Nobility is useless, while high nobility wont work, they are very powerfull in combat.
Choosing to make one of your pawn an Member of Nobility means you are making the pawn less of an Generalist/Worker and more of an Elite Soldier, this is highlighted by the ability of them calling Elite Guards in time of need or just having psychic abilities.
You yourself said "harsh world where everything wants to kill you", have an Noble man who can help in a fight can be very usefull.
Oh I agree some Nobility should work, maybe add an debuff for having them work becose they are royality or in rare cases refuse, while olther pawns with special traits would happily work...
But something tells me the "controverial" idea of giving an Nobility Debuff for working is wrong, if so you better have an good explenation that isn't "It's a survival game" becose its not an Survival Game.
I don't know bro, most of these people act like an stupid gimmick of Royality being steriotypical lazy and not working is stupid and we should have red october 2: kill dem Royality. than talking somthing something leadership, work, no fun.
I guess they forgot this is a game.
Where Royality is less of an corruption and more of an Trait, like an Kind charecter will help out olther charecter with work or issuing less decrees while someone with Hard Worker will still work.
While Neurotic charecters could issue more decrees.
Or Cannibals issuing an decree asking for Human meat or something.
An option to keep the default behaviour of royalties being a b*tch, but instead there's a trait, 'Humble' where royalties still act as someone just trying to survive
After messing around with this mod and having a blast an idea came to me. What if being a lazy noble was a trait like there are nobles who act like normal colonist then those others who have this noble trait that refuses to work
