@devil it locks up the game if you try to load the cargo pods and all pawns starve to death

Anyone know how to change transport pods like this to land on a specific spot like they did in 1.3?

In 1.4 transport pods dont land on the specific spot and its throwing off my OCD and i want them landing on a specific tile if ANYONE can help with this? thankyou so much.

For People still using this mod and wanting a temporary fix, the issue with flying to a world tile or ally city is to add the MOD "SET UP CAMP"

This will allow you to make a "Temp Campsite" anyware allowing you a place to put your ship down so your pawns can board it and go home.

I think this adds an interesting gameplay dynamic for leaving a friendly town. You now know you may need camping equipment or a couple of mounts for moving your ship out of the city. It also adds an interesting dynamic for Long Range adventure giving you a way to stop and refuel your ship to go farther than you ever dare by caravan.

@Jellypowered Thank you so much for continuing work on this Mod. I have been Subbed to this one for 2 years. I just got back into Rimworld after a few months break. When I came back for BioTech I was so happy to see this Mod had received an update! I know you are aware of the singular issue we are bumping into with relaunching when visiting other factions. I appreciate you for dedicating time to something that you do for free. I do like this mod more than SRTS.

ISSUE: It appears anytime we travel to a world tile without an encounter/mission on it the Ship is placed into our inventories. If there is supposed to be a prompt for us to launch on the world map it is not there.

PRO PLAYER TIP: You can dump waste by "Abandoning" the item from the world view map at what appears to be no consequence.

Make sure you have god mode enabled. You should see a bunch of red X options where the "rest" and "settle" options normally are. Find the one that says "teleport to destination" or something like that. Alternatively, right-click on the settlement/location you are needing to get to while you have your caravan selected and the options to "enter settlement" should come up. Hope this helps!

Is there a workaround for the goes-to-inventory-when-trading? Because I always get stuck and I don't really know what dev cheats to use,"spawning world pawn" doesn't spawn her with the items she bought in the inventory?

Not able to re-launch pod after use. It ends up in the inventory. So I'm stuck at whatever place I visited.

I had the same issue as Horagath. The pod ends up in the inventory of the pawns, but it can't be relaunched after you launch to a tile.

It seems that since 1.4 you can't relaunch the pod from the world map if you've used it to trade with another faction site. Can you have a look at that too please?

I did stop modding for a while. I have slowly been updating my mods, I have no plans to purchase Biotech, but will do everything I can to maintain compatibility.

This mod is not compatible with multiplayer mod (even when combined with its expanded compatibility addon) as of 6/16/2022. You can build the pod, even fuel it.. but you can not load it/send it as the menu does not show up on button click.

Somebody will need to make a fix mod or a forked update.

Thanks so much for this mod, it makes travel a breeze. I did have a bug though, wanted to make sure you're aware of it. I accidentally landed a pod on a space with items on it, and the pod itself disappeared. I looked all over the ground and checked inventories, but it was nowhere to be found.

That's likely something with the latest RW update. I know quite a few of my mods inexplicably changed settings and values all by themselves >.<

seems to have just been a bug on cargo pods pre-update. Newly built pods are fine.
