Sounds really great Pod, looking forward towards further progress on this mod, I do believe alot of dino models do need TLC, since some look quite dated when you take really close looks.

There is a test version of Version 2 of this mod up, hosted and curated on the Worlshop by Zythara. There are unfinished things still, and it will likely not be updated for long time, as we will need to direct attention to Ascended's release. I believe this mod will begin as skin only. Then we'll bring on more people, as we can pay them, to add new mechanics. I'll circle back and update about the new design doc, full road map of our goals, new creature models, etc. soon!

The Rex got a TLC after Abberation, so no second TLC needed and not on the spectrum according to the mod description.
Megalodon got a TLC mod already, so no use there.
Mosasaurus is actually the best idea you could bring up along with other creatures from the Early-Acess year of 2015.

Rex in the ark is a large head doll. Mosasaurus became a couch potato in the deep sea. Megalodonhas have changed from sea overlords to fishcan. [facepalm][facepalm][facepalm]

oh its separate creatures, was going to pass on it thinking it was a replacement liko other tlc mods, pretty cool its not, prefer it this way, and then customize the spawn lines myself in the .ini
not a fan ofthe dilo, but the turtle and carno look great

Heads up I think when this mod replaces the Carno it causes a Yutyrannus Genocide. I have seen multiple Yutyrannus get destroyed their little helpers. I have uninstalled the mod until then as it was nearly impossible to get a yuty out alive.

Yes, the blueprint is being set up for the big dilo and it's abilities are working and everything! The special kibble that produces it requires another creature to be finished which is also well underway. It's going to be a big focus as soon as I get the variant textures done for our already released creatures. :)

Was a rideable/slightly larger Dilo ever implemented? I asked about it some time ago and remember the Author saying something about him/her working on it. It's one of my fav dinos and love this model (despite not being true to life) and really, really want to have it as a rideable creature.

So... there was a problem on the site I didn't notice. Going to go ahead and be over-descriptive to explain this so it makes sense but, originally I had made a list of codes to stop our creatures from spawning as well as a list of codes to turn off vanilla, to mix and match, but when I added them to the site, I pasted the wrong list of codes into the wrong textbox, so the "stop tlc" spawn codes were under the vanilla spawn list... then I decided to not add the "stop tlc" list on that page yet at all, failing to realize those were the ones I actually put up... so all along people were putting those in their ini to turn off vanilla counterparts and stopping our creatures from spawning instead. Sincerely sorry for this inconvenience!

Correction: The egg spawns seem to be working except for the carno, my apologies. I also cannot seem to figure out how to get to turtle to tuck into its shell while I'm riding it, unless its just a passive thing it does upon low health. Im not sure if this is just me missing something, but I cannot seem to spawn in any of the saddles. The spawn codes do not seem to be working, however the spawn codes for the fertilized eggs do work. I saw in a post that said you can craft the saddles at a specific bench, but I cant even find that in my game? Looking up the Tek Carb saddle, it only says; Can Be Crafted At: (Blank). Any help would be appreciated! Lovely mod!

One reason the tek saddle may not be working for you is you need the engram! You need to use the cheat giveengrams, or GCM to unlock them all.

@AshtonEusebio if the carno saddle is clipping then you are using the vanilla carno saddle, ours is made in a special crafting bench for Dino Hoarders specific saddles. To make our mod compatible with Kraken's ours are separate creatures that don't override the basegame's.

@Ryebry gamer We are going to leave all the names for our TLCs unchanged since our mod goes with the established canon and lore. Ark's "Bronto" is likely genetically related to a camarasaurus, which it looks most like. But, in the Ark-verse, it's just called a Bronto.

@Dovah.Queen I can talk to Fox about turning down the spawns on the turtles a bit, also, if you have vanilla ones not turned off it might cause a higher rate of turtles in general. They are meant to be the most common animal on the beach, however, killing them does require at least a crossbow. Also it's a lot easier when mounted. They become invisible because for some reason the head of the wild ones starts "looking" when in shell, so when you run up with a weapon in hand, it tucks into the shell completely where you can't reach it. The head is vulnerable if you target it, so just use a crossbow and you can kill them easy.

@Superian - please report bugs with the saddle to the Discord so Zythara sees it, as he's it's creator. We're trying to get away from having in-development features of the mod on the public version but such a majority of people really wanted to try it out right away, so we released it, but it needs some finishes. It works perfectly for some people and not others, so we're going to look into why.

@Taco sorry, we have each TLC's info on it's own page because having one page with all the information on it would probably not load right unless we got rid of most of the context, and I don't want our mod shown without that important context. Also a lot of people would complain that it was hard to read or focus on the information unless it's compartmentalized. Whether it's on one page or many, it's the same amount of info, (a lot of info), and with modern internet they load fast separately.

There actually is a command to tell them to come out of the shell, but when the health gets lower than a certain point maybe you can't use it. They do go in shell autonomously at very low health.

Had a bit of a mishap while imprinting a baby turtle. He 'wanted to go for a walk with me' but accidentally fell into the water. I whistled for him to follow to get him out but he had gone into his shell. I'm not sure why since I don't think non-ridden dinos are subject to fall damage, but he was now submerged underwater inside his shell. I popped inside the base to get some healing items for him but by the time I came back 2 min later he had died? He was well within the radius of the feeding trough so I can only assume he drowned. Would it be possible to perhaps add a radial command to manually "force" them out of their shell when they are in that state?

Even getting off the turtle can get stuck in the air and fall under the texture. :dhnuke:
