I guess if you're that confused you could also consult the XCOM Modding Wiki's article on updating mods. In fact, if you're this new, you should probably read a few of those articles so you avoid stepping on the obvious rakes that comes with learning XCOM 2 modding.
How did you manage to update the mod, without having to create it new?
I have the workshop uploader, but it doesn't do what I'm looking for... and the other day you updated the internal file here... how?
So to fix it, it would be to change:
- ARC_Sam_Torso for ARC_Sam_Body
and the rest? Missing arms and legs.. or do I wait for your arrangement?
You wouldn't need to open the package anyway to fix that. The only mod that uses body parts from this mod that i'm aware of is the Raiden/Sam hero units mod, and i frankly don't see why the parts from either mod would be broken such that they're invisible.
wait fuck i know why. I changed Sam's torso archetype name from "ARC_Sam_Body" to "ARC_Sam_Torso" but the hero unit mod is still trying to call for the original archetype name, so it shows up invisible.
I did that to make it consistent with it's template name, which is just XXX_Sam_Torso for all of it's entries. I completely fucking forgot that would break the hero mod, i've been over here assuming people were just stepping on rakes like usual. Fixing now.
When opening it with the editor to see if I could see something, it blocks the tool and closes.
Since I'm using a mod that asks for this skin, I had to edit the xcomcontent with another skin, otherwise it will always be invisible.
????
XCOM is weird.
If you ever get around too it. The Fox Blade should only a Plasma and Chosen tier weapon.
How difficult is to extract data from a PS3 Blu-Ray? Because I'd like to port Old Snake and Rat Patrol 1 to XCOM 2 if nobody else does it before I do.
Well, shit, i know what i'm probably doing next, thanks.
