Since it is unlikely that the authoer will update this, you can make this Shipwrecked compatible by the following (Windows since that's what I use and I'm not responsible for issues arising so use at your own risk):

Have Notepad++ installed or similar code editor
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\mods\workshop-201702468 (or whereever your steam stuff is)
Right click file "modinfo.lau" and choose "Edit with Notepad++"
Add "shipwrecked_compatible = true" to file below "reign_of_giants_compatible = true"
Save File

After the above when you open Don't Starve and go to the mod page then this mod should show as SW compatible :-D

I cannot access my 713 day world due to a bug with the tooth traps. I get the same message each time, stating the following (important things only)

clockwork_trap_teeth.lua:51: attempt to local value 'self' (a nil value)
LUA ERROR stack traceback:
clockwork_trap_teeth.lua(51,1) in function 'CancelDelayedReset'
clockwork_trap_teeth.lua(59,1) in function 'StartDelayedReset'
clockwork_trap_teeth.lua(111,1) in function 'OnLoad'
entityscript.lua(1252,1) in function 'SetPersistData'

What I didn't include was the C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/you get it.

Anyways, I am hoping you can figure out what went wrong, how I can fix it, and hopefully prevent this from happening again. I really value this world, and I have spent almost 95 hours in it. Please do whatever you can to help.

Simplex has done a great job coding and maintaining this mod, but it was all my idea. I'm rather happy to see that many have enjoyed this little creation.

Removing the return from modmain.lua does indeed fix a crash for me, but it seems it also makes the trap unable to be refueled. Don't know enough to fix it myself, guess I'm out of luck.

I have also experienced a crash - everytime after almost destroying a hound mound by throwing rocks at it. Also crashed at modmain.lua... I played as woodiee and I replayed it the same way 3 times and crashed everytime I was just about to destroy the houd mound with throwable rocks.

@star I'm saying his code *has* a return and it's causing a crash. Removing that line fixes the problem.

Hi there, is there a way I can use 1 tooth to fully refresh the trap? Would it be possible to remove the re-fueling requirement altogether? I really like the auto-resetting feature but the tooth fuel mechanic is stopping me from downloading this mod. I'm not proficient at lua so I have no idea what to look for in the mod files to tweak this one thing. :boomer:

@simplex this mod wont work with the latest game, when i turn it on, it'll stop me from controlling the game, though the game's still running(the update animation's still playing). i cannot even exit the game unless i use ALT+F4. i really like this mod, and it'll be very nice if it's fixed ! PLZ !

After installing the beta, much to my dismay this mod no longer works. It causes my game to crash - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=234174026 I know the beta will be updated a lot before the final release, but thought you guys ought to get a heads up about it. This is pretty much my favorite mod ever, and I do hope you will make it compatible with the eventual Reign of Giants DLC.

I accepted your friend request, so you can send me the log.txt via Steam (the log includes which mods are enabled, so you don't need to explicitly tell me which ones you're using). I find the forums to be more useful for troubleshooting, but I get that creating an account is a hassle for those which don't have one already.

Note that the log.txt file is only meaningful right after a crash, since it's recreated every time the game runs.

Then it's likely a mod incompatibility issue. If you could tell me which other mods you're using and send me the http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/24881-logs-and-useful-info-for-bug-reports file through the mod's forum page [forums.kleientertainment.com] (or through a forum PM), that'd be great.

That's what I meant in the description when I said "when the trap runs out of fuel it stops resetting (but does not vanish)". It remains sprung (though you can still pick it up) until you fuel it again, at which point it will once again rearm itself.
