Long answer: I think some people complain about the helm being too sensitive and fast on manual mode. This is an on-purpose design decision. It's recommended to run it in auto mode and drag around the manual waypoint and it's jumpy enough that it gets good performance this way. Why? Because I'm lazy and don't like being tied to the bridge as captain the entire round every round. Deal with it.
Would it be possible for you to make an updated version that's just as small, with more storage (crate shelves and the like) and firepower capability (rail gun mounts)?
The engine runs too fast, it is difficult to maneuver.
And in the first mission I couldn't park at the station so I quit this sub.
Only real issue I've seen is that when accessing the fabricator/deconstructor the shelf interface overlaps the window and makes it impossible to use? Cant tell if they're simply placed too close together or if this is an issue with Barotrauma...
Pros: It's (essentially) one-floor, yet it's got all the fabricators. Default items are exactly what you need, nothing more. The diving suits are well-distributed throughout the ship, which leads to less littering. It's fast, it's fragile, and it's got a see-through conning tower. This combo allows us to try harder difficulties than we normally would and really ramps up the tension.
Cons: We ran into an issue with the conning tower, wherein you can shoot out the glass and swim out, but then, you can't swim back in. (This might be a bug with Barotrauma, not the sub.) Also, this sub requires some reactor micromanagement during engagements, which is a feature, not a bug, but keep it in mind if you've got a small crew size.
tl;dr I recommend this sub as the next step up from the Sweet Pea. Well done!
