To everyone who's getting something else while pressing f1, there's an "fn" key on your keyboard as well that you'll have to hold and *then* press f1 while holding it. Hopes this helps

if you have a compact keyboard, how do you play penpal mod? the compact keyboard is not working. maybe have a setting that allows you to change the keybind?

To the people saying he can hit you offline with your port lmao he can do that anyway. The people are just trying to scare you. Any port can be hit if you don't have a OVH/NFO or if you Redirect the traffic through a ddos protected server.

@Theon_ Seriously? Does your router not let you open TCP and UDP for the port at the same time? Did you not try opening both anyways? Why are you getting angry because they didn't type TCP or UDP?

You can't write more precisely, right? 6511 is all well and good, but what are TCP and UDC for this port? You can't do much without it and NO Google doesn't help because only bullshit comes out

Just to let people know... Many games require you to port forward in order to host multiplayer sessions. It's nothing new or unheard of, it's common practice.... But yes, it is still at your own risk as is everything on the internet. It's just not as shady as @jungle jim makes it out to be.

By the way, If any of you guys are actually dumb enough to port forward that to your IP, I wouldn't recommend, But for those that don't know, doing that could give this guy access to your internet, making him able to boot you offline, and as the description says, do it at your own risk.

Note: To enable the mod on the newest version you have to go to

Aka: The place to installed the game, and back two folders, in workshop\content\[game steam id]\[mod workshop id]
Open "fmConfig.json" in a text editor (recommend NotePad++) Change
"targetAPIVersion": "1.0.0",
to the new modding API number (Should be top right of the screen when in the main menu)
Example: "targetAPIVersion": "1.0.1",
Then save, and restart the game. You should now see the mod in the modding menu, and enable it.

This seems like a great idea, just that people are saying you can only see a shadow of your friend and not interact with them at all. I don't really see the point of it then at that point. Will this be worked on and fully released to work fully at a later date?? Thanks.
