@Rin403 same here, hope it gets fixed soon

Heyo, I'm using this mod and my room still does not count for the royalty needs even with the patch. Now I am using various other mods (ofc) and I installed this mid game, plus there JUST was an update so idk if you've even gotten around to it yet. But figured I'd let you know and see if anyone has an issue with the new update or not

hi

Found a potential quick fix. Your error log may throw an error from VFE patching operations but it should be fine as I have added the VFE royalty patch to this.

Let me know if theres any issues.
wofl  [author] 15 Aug, 2020 @ 10:50am
I'll check it out more today/tomorrow and see what I can do, until then I've rolled it back to what it was before. It should still work for 1.2.0.

I've mainly just been using fixes given to me by the community for this mod since I don't actually own the royalty dlc, which makes it pretty difficult to test if these changes work, so thanks for the information you've given me.
Phsarjk 15 Aug, 2020 @ 8:07am
@ThatOneGuy yeah I'm not sure about the operation tag. It might work, it might be incorrect, but parsable and thus ignored. It is an <operation> tag in a list of <li class="PatchOperation..."> tags, I think it should be like the others to actually work. If KingSize and DoubleErgonomic bed (whatever that is - its the bed keys, not the names in-game) does not count for royalty, the <operation> tag should be changed to <li Class="PatchOperationAdd"> and the closing </operation> tag be a </li> tag. Even if both element notations work, for consistencys sake I would change it to fit the others.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Punful Guy 15 Aug, 2020 @ 5:14am
@Phsarjk You seem to be wrong about the <operation> tag. There's an equal amount of opening and closing statements of those. All I needed to do to fix the mod was turn "</li" into "</li>" at line 170
Punful Guy 15 Aug, 2020 @ 5:00am
My game actually wouldn't load at all and just had a black screen until removing this mod. Hope this gets fixed, thanks @Phsarjk I'll try using your edits
mabo404 15 Aug, 2020 @ 4:33am
Yep, I found if I loaded this (and I also have Vanilla Furniture Expanded) then it throws an infinite series of errors and shuts the whole modding system down. Works perfectly if you just load the More Furniture and the Vanilla Furniture Expanded mod WITHOUT this mod loaded.
But that's what the warning above says anyway, so probably not much else to do other than read and follow the information more closely (which of course, I forgot to do!). Silly me. Great you. Have loved your mod forever dude.
Phsarjk 15 Aug, 2020 @ 1:50am
For good measure I tried to unsubscribe and resubscribe to make sure it wasn't just corrupted, the errors are still here. If I fix the two problems I mentioned in the xml, then everything works again.
Phsarjk 15 Aug, 2020 @ 1:46am
Thank you for the update! However, there appears to be malformed xml in your Royalty.xml file. For one, you have an <operation> tag I think should have been <li>? And near the end you have a </li element (missing >) - this causes rimworld to throw a long list of follow up errors after this one and ultimately resets the modlist to empty... here's hoping everyone is using a mod manager and remembered to save their list or they need to recreate their modlist from scratch (and until you fix this, this mod cannot be added or it will reset again) :)

Updated to 1.2 & released a potential fix for the VFE compatibility issues
Atomik Doctor 7 Aug, 2020 @ 9:06pm
Hey all, I see several people mentioned an error when using this patch wtih VFE royalty patch.. just wanted to let yall know, that from the description, it looks like VFE royalty patch includes this mod as well.
Midnight 19 May, 2020 @ 9:11pm
I have the same problem as Leri.
Leri-Weill [FRA] 27 Apr, 2020 @ 11:52am
Hey, there is a little error when you load this patch and Vanilla Furniture Expanded. I don't know if it was reported before, but when both are loaded, the VFE patch for Royalty doesn't work; here's the log : https://gist.github.com/763f97ae221600568f238416cedff718
Tried with VFE before or after the patch : same results!
Lilcya 26 Mar, 2020 @ 12:47pm
YES! You did it! =)
All your furniture and the vanilla stuff live up to the high expectations of the royals now =)
wofl  [author] 26 Mar, 2020 @ 8:30am
Okay, I put together a much more in-depth patch for it after looking into how the game handles linkables for royals some more. Should work now. As always, let me know if it doesn't. Thanks for your patience + help and my apologies for the issues.
Lilcya 26 Mar, 2020 @ 2:51am
Unfortunately there still is an issue. For me at least, no clue if that's a general problem or other mods interferring. I did not test the furniture with vanilla only.

So: the vanilla furniture is satisfying royals again! Buuuut the added furniture from this mod doesn't anymore. Not even royal endtables =(
I even build a new dresser real quick to test if newly built stuff works. It doesn't.
wofl  [author] 25 Mar, 2020 @ 1:15pm
@Early_,

Thanks for the error log - it really helps since I don’t actually own the Royalty DLC to test these out so it can be very difficult to properly patch without it. Hopefully it should be working now, but let me know if there’s any issues.
Midnight 25 Mar, 2020 @ 12:27pm
I'm getting the same error as Early_ since your update.
kukun 25 Mar, 2020 @ 5:11am
Hey, sorry to bother you. But it seems like the latest update is giving me some xml errors on the startup https://gist.github.com/b78a42da93e633165f17483669732eac which do not appear before the update. I'm using both the main+this patch mod, thank you!
wofl  [author] 25 Mar, 2020 @ 3:46am
@Lilcya Oops. Fixed now, thanks for the heads up.
Lilcya 25 Mar, 2020 @ 3:30am
I have the problem that with the patch ONLY the furniture from this mod work for royals. They don't recognize the vanilla endtable as an endtable anymore, saying the room has none. Same goes for dressers. Vanilla beds work though.
Carny Senpai 20 Mar, 2020 @ 8:59am
I still get this error and found the culprit. It is Gloomy Furniture. If you load More Furniture and the patch after Gloomy Furniture you get the error. If you load Gloomy Furniture last, it works. I don´t know what exactly Gloomy Furniture adds or removes, that this patch fails.
vimaz 20 Mar, 2020 @ 12:36am
Just to make sure, does this replace "More Furniture [1.1]" or should it just be loaded afterwards? There is no stated dependency in the mod or loadAfter-directive. It seems to work fine regardless due to alphabetical sorting but would still be nice to make sure all mods state their dependencies and load order :)
And thanks for making this mod! :)
wofl  [author] 19 Mar, 2020 @ 7:27pm
Should be fixed now.
Carny Senpai 19 Mar, 2020 @ 4:31pm
Hi, i am getting this error when loading the game:

[More Furniture [1.1] Royalty Patch] Patch operation Verse.PatchOperationReplace(*/RoyalTitleDef[defName = "Esquire" or defName = "Knight" or defName = "Praetor" or defName = "Baron" or defName = "Count" or defName = "Duke" or defName = "Consul" or defName = "Stellarch" or defName = "Emperor"]/bedroomRequirements/li[@Class = "RoomRequirement_Thing"][thingDef[text()="EndTable"]]) failed

It appears 2 times 1 for EndTable and 1 for Dresser even though i have this mod loaded after the main More Furniture.
Nathual 19 Mar, 2020 @ 1:25pm
If I move it around in the list though, it has even more of those pop up. It my be a mod compatibility problem. Never had those with your mods before and it only happens with the patch. Just a heads up and something you might want to look at.
wofl  [author] 18 Mar, 2020 @ 11:21pm
@Nathual,

That should be fine, that error is just saying that it can't find the defs for the mod Vanilla Furniture Expanded to apply a compatibility patch to. It should have no effect on gameplay.
Nathual 18 Mar, 2020 @ 10:51pm
Hey There, Thought I would let you know there some issues with the mod.... Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ThingDef named Table_RoyalDresser .... Keep getting that popping up in red. I can send you the full log if you want. Just tell me where to post it.
Klonter77 von Planet77 13 Mar, 2020 @ 1:31pm
Nice, thanks ^^
wofl  [author] 13 Mar, 2020 @ 10:33am
Royalty pawns need things in their room to be happy, this just adds more furniture items like end tables to the list of viable end tables for them to be happy.
VexedOwl 13 Mar, 2020 @ 7:00am
What all does this patch?
