@pavle3333 (2) Might that be an issue with Network Extensions or another mod? There have been problems reported, related to other mods being updated. The map is quite old, and I'm actually thinking about a completely revamped version, following the more modern standards. However, map making is a time consuming process, and time is a resource I'm currently in shortage of 😶

Was looking forward to building on this map but always get simulation error on load and the map then looks like aliens are exctracting resources on it

Great map but I think the lane management isn't right on the first interchange when you start out. The cars weren't coming into the build area. Took me a while to notice. Apart from that what a stunning piece of work, well done!

Unfortunately, got the same error as Rud.

When trying to start a new game with the map it states the theme is missing, then on load there is a Simulation: (failed) error. Any ideas?

FYI I loaded this map as a new map with the new free update and new DLC and it still works even with the zoning being off with Tiny Roads being off kelter with NEXT2. Loaded my saved one and it is good as well.

Oh it is all good :) I just gave feedback nothing more, I love this map. I went through about 50 maps so you did good! Thumbs up before my first comment! I am already am in process of putting what plans I was thinking of when I went looking for a map in the first place :) Should be starting it in the next couple of days :)

@Allystrya: My TM:PE settings are to deal with the C:S traffic peculiarities. Unfortunately, without the free flow everywhere, and with no priority roads, the traffic doesn't behave realistically, to my taste, with every car stopping, no matter whether there's incoming traffic or not. Still, with all intersections, roundabouts, and merges cleared up, my traffic is ~ 80%.

The simplest solution? Inserting 4 lane vanilla hwy roundabouts. One before that first intersection near the factory and one between the two interechanges on the other with a road between them over the mountain. Both heavily TMPE micromanaged (probably really need an interchange). Traffic went up to 84-85% from the 62 and stayed there. I was able to remove TMPE from the other areas. I have part of my personal video if you want to see

The TMPE settings you have are unusual and I did put them down but just didn't work for me. I am a detail person even in following directions. :)

But As my daughters told me, if I was spending that much time finding a fix then I am going to use the map because that is my MO. They are right of course. Just need to figure out a prettier fix than what i did to make sure it would work LOL

@Allystrya: Thanks for your kind words and the feedback. I've re-tested the map, and after running the game at 3x speed for ~30 minutes the traffic flows smoothly at 81% without clogging at any point. That is, after setting up all intersections and roundabouts along the coast with TM:PE to allow for smooth traffic.

There was a "hidden" node near the factory in an early version of the map, but the workshop version looks to be fixed to me. Was that the fix you're writing about?

About the missing assets: I've tested those on the map early in the works and it seems that the map did not completely get rid of those assets. I thought I fixed that problem, but apparently not – I'll investigate further, and update the map if I find a fix.

Please let me know if there are any other issues with the map that I can fix.

Oh and I didn't build anything except my temp fix for the road, that was just outside stuff and I think I know why it is happening on the one road.

I am looking for a new map and I really do love the aesthetics.
Love the switchbacks (I hate making them).
It feels like you intentionally put trees in good logical places not just painted the ground and called it good. I love that.

A couple of things though for me:

First an FYI:
You are missing two items from your list according to the Loading Screen mod: DX Shore Profiles Steep 1 and seawall-s2-he

Secondly, there are a few things that bother me but I can work with those easily. However....

... Traffic. I always investigate a map "in person" and run it in fast time. Let's water and traffic kick in and settle etc. Water seems to be good! :)

When I first opened traffic just a few minutes after starting it was at 80%. Let it run about an hour or so. It stabilized between 61-63% with a long tailback by the factory. I did get a temp fix in that got it to 83-85 but character limit prevents anything further :)

Are you sure you have all the dependencies listed in the essentials collection? I can't load your map but can load other maps perfectly fine. Whenever I try to load the map I get the generic "Simulation (failed)" type of error.
