Maybe because I'm using steam deck and playing in 1280x800 resolution?
New update after such a long time 🥴
- Changing to newer truck skin format for future content update, re-apply the paintjob if missing
- New Icon and Thumbnails
- Added custom penguin logistics logo. Go to your profile edit settings and change company logo from there
so what's next?
- will do some refresh to current available trucks design and fix missing parts, no new trucks though.
It seems the paintjob is causing my game to crash when delivering goods at the Genoa Bridge. Something to do with insufficient memoy allocation.
It my game.log, I found these two lines that seem relevant:
<WARNING> [resource_task] Default temporary buffer is insufficient while reading '/vehicle/truck/upgrade/paintjob/scania.s_2016/pengulgstc/pengulgstc_0.dds' with size 89478612
<ERROR> d:\buildbot\slaves\win_slave\final_build_ets2_137_windows_bin_steam_x64\build\prism\src\engine\m_manager_pool.cpp(228): ?alloc_mem@memory_manager_pool_t@prism@@UEAAPEAX_KPEAVc_item_t@2@@Z: [mem] unable to get an empty memory block...
And when looking on the SCS forum, I found this thread that seemed to address similar paintjob issue: Paintjob DDS texture artifact [forum.scssoft.com]. I hope this can help.
Thanks again for your work !
Actually, I use the Actros tuning pack from SCS, and yes, you're right, mudguards are paintable in this pack.
Thanks for this great work. It seems that there is a slight texture bug on the MB New Actros, when using mudguards on the back wheels.
I don't know if we can share files through Steam, so let me share the screenshots through wetransfer: https://we.tl/t-IxZk81gLAQ
