all those ppl crying XD, i played a mod 2 weeks ago and didn't like the kind of energy projectile it was firing so i just remoded it with no knowlegde of how mod (especially weapon core) and c# works. Took me 11 days to be able to understand the whole thing (thx the help of chatgpt btw) of how weapon core works and how adjust and modify all the c# files. Now i just retake old mods, weapon style of laser/projectile properties, etc. and put it and adapt it to my differents weapons cores local mods(not in the workshop) for my personnal use. As for this Laser, i just love it and i added the laser graphic properties (not the weapon block) as an ammo to another of my asgard canon beam. Thx for the author, i hope u see no problem with that :) If you guyes always wait for others to do something u like, life isn't good be enjoyable for you.

mushroomoverlord range let say this less the mac cannon meaning with halo weapon mod i can shot at you base form 0.7g a way when you base on the planet

That is a horridly long reload time... but it makes it balanced that way.

Can you please make a version that does NOT Require Weapon-Core? Using Weapon core cuts off a lot of different weapon mods that do not support it, and WC Breaking the mods (Like disabling Turret AI and such)

it doesn't even fire for me and I used everything that it requires, all different variations & still nothing.
This definitely needs to be reworked and fixed to deal the damage it's creator promised it would do.

@Wortho , hi.

I was wondering if you used any tools/framework to make this mod as I am hoping to make a mod with weapons similar to this but leaning more towards the Halo Covenant Style as something like this would be very useful for making some of the Covenant Weaponry

No longer functions properly, at least for me. I fire it at some heavy blocks and they get mildly deformed, none break. Is this an issue on my end or the mod's?

Strange modding question, unsure if this conflicts with the “DO NOT reupload…” but, May I use this mod as a framework for part of the uncreated mod known as “Negative Engineering [NEG] (Space Engineers Edition), this would be extremely helpful because NEG is super laser heavy and I don’t know how to implement weaponry in SE. NEG was originally a Stellaris mod but 3 days into development I have decided I wanted to create a SE branch of the mod. I am using spotlights as models for ship weapons (at least until I gain the ability to make my own). You will be fully credited in my default (your name, link to you workshop, your mod name, link to mod) or whichever method you want me to use. Sorry if this does conflict with the no reupload rule (or some form of copyright) , if it does, should I delete this comment and do you have any suggestions on how to learn how to make SE weaponry without a framework established?

Grid limit: 1 per grid (subgrids included)

pretty sure that means 3 cannons on same grid wont work... but give it a shot

I use the cold fusion reactor (6GW power) so power is not a issue so what would happen if I put 3x of these canon on the same grid??

This raises a lot of questions. What is the range of this? How come in creative it's charging 60mws before attempting firing, and the full 1200mws after attempting firing? Can it hit planets? Why are people still using the "PLZ LIEK FAV!!!111" gif in 2021?

So poor link formatting aside, I had adjusted my timer blocks some and did another test fire, except the PGI cannon fired immediately instead of needing to charge.

So I fired this one up and fired it once; awesome blast, very nice piece. A few more test firings and I loaded up a copy of my largest miner to test actual force. Not only did it take a few hits to penetrate the Mexpex Heavy Mining Drill (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=475375953) I didn't have a visual on the beam itself after the first time it hit another ship. Since I didn't think the drill should be tough enough to withstand a single hit, since the ATLAS tests I did can gut the entire miner. Successive test firings get damage impacts out of the cannon, but still no actual firing graphics.
I currently have it stacked up inside a large central gunwell on a capital ship as part of the main cannon. It has armor blocks in front of it, except for the center block. Could this be a corruption of the mod files or the way I've built around it?
