Great track only issue is when you touch a curb you spin every time. Its like the curbs are made of ice.

@anausiejoe copy that. I'm still waiting to hear back. Will confirm permission. When I asked if I could get the file I did state it was for the reason of getting it converted to work in RF2.
Also, good on you for that. If I can get the file, I'll email you. Thank you.

Thanks for the new AIW. Having a blast here with the S397 Porsche GT3 Cup cars. The only thing I see that might make it better would be the cameras. Appreciate your work aussiejoe.

Any possibility of doing Waterford Hills? I only ever found the track was uploaded years ago (2010 post) for Rfactor (Original) I reached out to original upper (They are in Germany) to see if they still had a file for converting. It's my local track and can't get there but want to practice...

@atomed I appreciate the comment Ty. As for that bump, Thats part of the track.
Link is via Profile (Buy me a beer) But in all honest, I do this cos i enjoy it (Maybe alittle addicted)
Not for $$

@mountpilot (Ruapuna) I have contacted the last modder (Kiwi12) that updated the track for RF1 but he's yet to reply. As for Hugh Jarse, I have no contact details for him.

Working perfectly now Joe, what a blast. It looked beauttiful even when I couldn´t drive around it but now I can it´s become one of my favorite tracks. Try it with the BMW 2002, it looks like a car made tfor this track.
Just one thing, on the straight before the pit entry there is a big bump around the 150m signal, I suppose that´s how it is but just to make sure it´s not a bug.
Do you have any Paypal account to make donations? You truly deserve some, man, congrats again for your great work.

That was a quick fix. Thanks Joe. I see what you mean about the slight bumps adding "character" to the track. I especially like the one in the braking zone on the backside of the course. Fine job sir.
FYI: the rF1 track "Ruapuna" can be found here: {LINK REMOVED} but not sure it will convert without a lot of texture/objects being updated heavily.
Hugh Jarse did the rF1 conversion and he brought it in from NR2003 so it might not be worth all the work.
It was also available in Assetto Corsa.

FIXED.

Sorry guys. Those parts of the track that had no grip were named different to give the track a bit more life (Bumpy) I named a texture incorrectly.

@mountpilot Ill have a look at that track if i can find it.
atomed 16 Mar, 2020 @ 12:38pm
Same issue here, there are places with no traction at all, it´s like the asphalt planes were disconnected between themselves or something like that. It´s undrievable, but the track itself is fantastic, thanks for your work.
FlexyDemon 16 Mar, 2020 @ 12:17pm
Hi, thanks for the effort but I too experience the same issues as mountpilot. Several parts of the track seem to be made out of wet grass (i.e. Zero grip). The AI doesn't seem to have a problem with it as they all stay on track and don't spin out or lock the fronts on braking. And no, I'm not just a bad driver ;-)

Maybe T0p5ecret help with AIW...is an idea ;)

Hi Joe, Thanks very much for your work on all your tracks. It's much appreciated. I'm wondering if anyone else are having issues here though, specifically with regards to traction. I'll be driving along the track and suddenly it'll be like hitting a patch of ice, no traction at all and off course you go. It's that way with various cars/mods and it happens at various places all along the full length of the track. I've changed realroad settings and nothing helps. Track is totally unusable as it is at the moment.
While on the topic, how difficult is it to add more realroad settings to this track? (ie: med:rubber, high:rubber)
One last question for you Joe. Have you considered bringing over the Ruapuna track from rF1?
I feel it's an under-appreciated track, that with the proper conversion, many would enjoy driving at.
Thx again Joe.
