It will be more helpful if it allows you to choose curses

it would be nice if there was also an option to remove cards you added (in case you made a mistake and accidentally added a card you dont want). right now if you want to remove a card you either have to play with that card untill you can remove it or you need to go trough all the menus to restart your run and neither are very optimal

Hm... Actually, that's kind of dumb. There's really only three relics you'd need/want before picking cards, and that's the three egg cards.

I'm going to poke around with the source code and see about selecting relics first instead of last.

Black blood seems to be missing

after ticking the choose relic button, nothing happens, ill start the run, but it just doesnt come up with anything

I'm having the same issue as sellion. Any idea why we can only pick defect cards?

Doesn't matter wich character i choose i can only pick defect cards, why?

I wish I could use this mod to do an Evil Run with Downfall installed. It just skips all the options.

Can't get Purple cards to show up in the card selection menu. Anyone know how to fix this? I haven't tried anything more than uninstalling and reinstalling.

Any chance of Neow's Lament being added to the starting relic pool? Was disappointed at not seeing it there, as some of my favorite seeds require it, but starting a seeded run won't let me start with it.

It only works in custom runs, you have to enable it

Yeah, this doesn't work for me either. Not sure what the problem is.

I would love it if this where compatable with spire with friends.

How exactly do you use this?
There's no options in the mod list.
It does nothing for standard start.

This works but has compatibility issues with various mods.
For example downfall will completely ignore the options and will make it difficult selecting hero runs.

It's still playable as long as you don't use the options primarily relic selection.
Custom decks more less works but i haven't completed a run yet.
Using both options i can get relic selection to show up but it will ctd on drawing cards.

Also note this issue only appeared for me after the latest downfall update adding the new character.

Extra info:
When the update happened i couldn't even run the game originally so i uninstalled because i couldn't be bothered with troubleshooting
I reinstalled months later and now the game works.

Other mods will need testing but i will leave that to others to report.

@vex'd can there be an option to start with event relics? I DESPERATELY want a cursed run where i start with the face of cleric, singing bowl, and a barricade->demon form->FEED deck

Love this idea, but I can't get this one to run. I'm able to choose it from the mod list but nothing happens in the game. Any ideas?

Blue, Red, Green, Colorless ... but no purple...

A little problem: Once you right click on a card to upgrade it, it keeps upgraded and can't be reversed until next game launch.

Hello, thank you so much for the amazing mod. I spend hours testing custom decks with it!
I might be a moron, but I still don't see the purple cards. I tried desinstalling the mod and the game without any change. Someone else has this issue?

@Araziel, @HeyItsDoopey: You get to select cards from all characters (including mod-characters). It just starts with cards from The Defect (blue ones) - if you finish that selection, you can select cards from the next character and so forth.

It is strange that you can choose to add your starting relic again.

Nice to see and I confirm the presence of purple cards! :) I found a minor issue - if you have both custom start options (cards and relics) as well as the starter deck mod (which starts you with busted crown and binary), when you hit the relic select screen, you suddenly lose controller input on the left stick and directional buttons. You can still use the mouse to select the relics and it does allow you to re-enable the controller afterwards (press a direction button or move the left stick), but it was just a tad odd to find.

you should make a mod that forces all neow options to choose from, tired of restarting to get the decent ones
