If you are plying on normal mode (with building knowledge and such) then there is a cap at how big your ships can be. Any ship bigger than this cap will be automaticly downscaled. If this happens, turret designs will in some cases be "too big" for the block. If this happens you need to enter turret editor for EACH turret to have them scaled down.

But if that isn't the issue, then I don't know what is. You can try a smaller grid scale and make sure it's (the turret) is completely inside the turret block space?

Hello, amazing ship design 10/10. Just spent 10hrs worth of mining to gather resources for the ship for my endgame grind. I cant seem to manage to put turrets on the turret base. i get a message "You cannot build a turret at this place. The turret is not entirely on the block." . Any idea how to solve it?

Have to say, the design looks simple at first, and then you start to notice all the little details, truly amazing ship. Really love the hangar design, never thought to use lights like that.
