@Varenneer I have no idea, havent had time to explore the dlc, the mod is just updated for 1.6 so far
Varenneer 9 hours ago
I have created roof glass on orbit near the terraforming tree but the light doesn't seem to pass throught as my pawns doesn't want to sow anything before I put a sun light. Is that normal ?

Mlie  [author] 11 hours ago
@Gakster No, they are still considered indoors
Gakster 11 hours ago
Do transparent roofs cancel out the "stuck indoors" hediff?
Mlie  [author] 15 Jul @ 3:13am
@Goldeathorus Would be better if tmaterials did not use destructive patches tbh. Its the cause of the issue after all
Goldeathorus 14 Jul @ 11:37pm
There's a bit of a weird interaction between this mod, Glass and Lights, and TMaterials - Glass when all three are loaded; TMaterials - Glass has an integrated patch for Glass and Lights to allow Glass and Lights to use the glass materials from TMaterials - Glass instead of its own. However, when this mod is loaded with Glass and Lights, this mod's recipe for transparent roofs is (by default at least) patched to use Glass and Lights' glass, which if using all three together is uncraftable.

With that lengthy explanation of why out of the way, is there any chance you'd consider patching this to be able to use the glass from TMaterials - Glass when it's loaded, so that this doesn't happen?
Crimson Binome 14 Jul @ 10:55am
Looks like it works again upon a reload - landing a gravship does indeed bork it, but a reload sets it straight again.
Mlie  [author] 13 Jul @ 8:38am
@othtim Its been reported
othtim 13 Jul @ 6:42am
This doesnt appear to work on a ship after taking off/landing. It works when you build it, but as soon as you take off and land somewhere, the solar controller stops working.
LuthorHarkon 12 Jul @ 6:37am
but it will work after re-load the save...... I believe it still have some issue there.
LuthorHarkon 12 Jul @ 6:35am
solar controller dose not work (crying~~)
DonutDeer 10 Jul @ 2:21pm
hey, just wanted you to know you forgot to add this to you "Mlie's resurrected mods". I don't know if you really care or not but it was just something i noticed. thanks for all the work you do. :TheDonuts:
Toprongy 5 Jul @ 1:14pm
thank you for updating to 1.6!
Bat stealer 3 Jul @ 9:13pm
wait a minute... i can spawn in a flat world, make a room where the insect jelly from hives gets automatically extracted using hoppers, then lure the bugs whit food to turrets, as the jelly that supports them is gone, thus having infinite insect jelly reserves by using T H I C C roofing to lure infestations... YES...
Mlie  [author] 3 Jul @ 10:09am
@Iteron no idea, never tried multiplayer
Iteron 3 Jul @ 10:07am
is this mod multiplayer compatible?
Mlie  [author] 20 Jun @ 3:45am
@简风离 Updating all my mods, see Discord for progress
简风离 20 Jun @ 3:11am
would you update for 1.6?please
Mlie  [author] 1 Jun @ 9:50pm
@lonely_grass Only mountain roofs should do that afaik
lonely_grass 1 Jun @ 9:18pm
So, will this roof cause insects to breed?
Or is it a problem with my other mods?
电脑玩家柊镜 1 Jun @ 3:29am
whoever have un-working solar controller that's already properly connected to panels, simply reload the save and problem solves.
PeskyEddieTTV 9 May @ 7:02am
@mile Nvm I'm a moron. Just tested it again, it turns out the south part of the Solar Controller can't be pushed up against the wall. And I know, I just wanted to document it incase someone runs into the same problem as me. Idk why that's the case, but I double checked that it was daytime too.
Mlie  [author] 8 May @ 9:47pm
@PeskyEddieTTV In my tests it works as long as the controller is built first and under the solar roof it should be controlling
PeskyEddieTTV 8 May @ 9:06pm
I checked, and it's not just that the solar controller needs to be built first. Apparently, the controller needs to be built indoors too.
Screaming Chicken 3 May @ 10:31am
You're right, an interesting feature:steamhappy:
Mlie  [author] 1 May @ 9:58pm
@Screaming Chicken No, you just need to build the controller first, then the roofing over it.
Screaming Chicken 1 May @ 3:31pm
Perhaps it could be mentioned in Compatibility
Screaming Chicken 1 May @ 3:26pm
Solar roofs seems to conflict with other mods, causing the output to be 0 W, and the problem disappears after reload.:steamhappy:
Mlie  [author] 28 Mar @ 6:47am
@VirtualZer0 Yes, and my response was that it doesnt happen with only this mod loaded so they should try to find out what mod is causing it. You can use this advice as well
VirtualZer0 28 Mar @ 6:39am
Transparent roofs only let in 50% of the light, making it impossible to grow plants underneath. This problem has already been mentioned by someone in the comments.
Alex 24 Mar @ 10:32am
you have to replace it with not thick roofing...
Humongous Chungus Among Us 16 Feb @ 11:21am
I was hoping that removing mountain roof, and replacing it with thick stone roofing would stop infestations. It doesn't :(
Mlie  [author] 25 Jan @ 5:03am
@,,,,, Please see the Reporting Issues section described above
,,,,, 25 Jan @ 3:55am
i have a solar controller and everytime the sun goes down my colony dont have any power even with full batteries
Takel 7 Jan @ 3:14pm
Just a head's up. I'm seeing a weird interaction with this mod which is causing blueprints to ignore underlying objects. eg: building a wall or a fence will go straight over rock/trees without removing the rock/tree beforehand.
I don't know what's causing the unwanted behaviour right now, I'll need to finish doing isolation tests.
Plague - No Computer 2 Dec, 2024 @ 1:52pm
Like some others, just wanted to report that the solar controller didn't work until I saved and reloaded. Easy enough of a fix. Love the mod. Great work! This was in Dev Mode though, as I was just tinkering with new mods.
chrismmar 29 Nov, 2024 @ 1:42pm
tried it all, didn't work, I assume it might be a mod conflict but I aint seeing any errors on my console.
Mlie  [author] 27 Nov, 2024 @ 9:54pm
@chrismmar Try the other way around, or reload the save.
chrismmar 27 Nov, 2024 @ 3:30pm
solar roofs seem bugged, I built the roof first, then the controller, still produces 0 watts
Alexander Zagirov 23 Nov, 2024 @ 7:37am
@Mlie, I was mistaken. All thick roofs made from modded stone materials disappear after the save reload. It’s definitely a bug. Only vanilla materials work fine.
Mlie  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 1:23pm
@RebelKillSwitch Place the roofs first, then the controller
RebelKillSwitch 16 Nov, 2024 @ 1:20pm
weird, fresh research, controller placed, roofs placed. 0 watts generated.. reload save, no issues.
Alexander Zagirov 15 Nov, 2024 @ 2:23am
There seems to be incompatibility with Industrial concrete mod. It’s designated as a “stone” material and you can build thick roofs with it, but those roofs disappear after the save reload. Other stone roofs seem to work fine, so it’s probably a problem with the material itself. I’m posting it here just in case Mlie can figure out what’s going on and fix it.
Mlie  [author] 19 Oct, 2024 @ 5:56am
@jonilgz You can choose if you want the roofs to require maintenance or not
jonilgz 19 Oct, 2024 @ 3:45am
The menu option for maintance means you dont need to do maintance or that maintance wont be automatic?
RoriconKnight 14 Oct, 2024 @ 7:56am
thats odd, you are right. I tried to rebuild the room and it become "inside" - weirdly though, there is no build roof marker on the tiles.

eh, as long as it works.
thank you for your help.
Mlie  [author] 14 Oct, 2024 @ 7:02am
@RoriconKnight No, it counts as inside
RoriconKnight 14 Oct, 2024 @ 6:59am
does transparent roof makes the game thinks the room still "outdoor" as if it had no roof?

kinda bizzare I'd say. the main use for this transparent roof is for a greenhouse-like farming setup but being outdoor and subjected to outside temperature is not exactly a greenhouse.
枪马网卡耳朵聋 8 Oct, 2024 @ 10:08pm
I get it. Thank you.
