Again, NSC hasn't been touched for a long time - I'm not surprised it has bugs, especially post 4.0.

I may look into it once PDX have finished patching.

Having an issue with turret and engine placement on the strike cruiser, its the same as the normal cruiser. Same issue with the NSC patch

Should be fine - not 100% sure your shipsets will update, but it shouldn't break your save.

Hi @Lyv, the "ship_kinds" was already fixed as of 4.0.

However, I think I see your problem. I've released another update there now that should hopefully fix your problem (amoebas should now properly spawn for this mods' ships if you choose Beastmaster or other related origins/civics). Please test and let me know if you encounter any problems!

I think we're not talking about the same bug. The issue in 4.0 was that the shipset mod was incorrectly classified as part of the biological ship group — that bug was indeed fixed.
However, what I'm referring to is a different problem that appeared after a more recent update:
When using this shipset with a civic like "Beast Master," the three starting Amoebas disappear at game start, and it's no longer possible to design or clone any space fauna (i.e., the natural space creatures, not synthetic bio-ships).
I resubscribed to the mod and tested it, and I can confirm the bug still exists.

Just curious as to why no updates to the 'companion' mod, the shipyards? That doesn't appear to have been updated since 2023.
Also, other then the already reported missing models, this set loads fine with 4.0.21 beta. (Not running NSC, but I prefer BSB+ASB anyway for the level of 'fiddle' that I want.):steamhappy:

I fixed this once 4.0 was released. Have you tried resubscribing to the mod?

If it continues to be a bug then I'm really sorry but I'm planning to hold off updating my mods until Paradox finish patching, as it's very tiring having to constantly update, and I've got no enjoyment for the game as it stands.

NSC Compatibility issue: the turrets on the frigate are misaligned well above and to either side of the hull, positioned about where a destroyer hull would be located.

Hi Korvegan; the amount of edits this mod makes (not only models but also citysets and species themes) means that I'm not sure how you could make it ironman friendly... sorry.

In future perhaps a variant with the ships only would be doable, but I'd need the consent of my colleagues on that one!

NSC's Strike Cruiser model uses Cruiser mounts by the looks of things. Other than that, happy to see this set back in action.

UPDATE - Mod updated to be compatible with ALL version 4 Paradox updates (this is to stop people complaining about version incompatibility).

It doesn't matter - this mod should work on 4.05 despite being set for 4.02.

I will update it so that it reflects v4+ later this week; there's little point at the moment due to how many updates Paradox are firing out.

Transport ships DO have an in-game model, shared with another ship (can't remember which exactly). Make sure you have no conflicts.

Unfortunately I do not have any graphics for the transport ships for the Army. I searched the folder to find a trace of the files but there is nothing - were they never there or were they deleted ?
