1) I do mean 4 times with that but press it as often as you want or until it looks correct
2) it doesn't look right
1) Does toggle FOW off/on twice mean pressing that button twice, or pressing it four times?
2) If I load a save with FOG turned off, and I don't perform the instructions, what bug is 'supposed' to happen?
So confusing...
It's alright though, i've found the mod on a russian website which I think is the last such website remaining, it's only problem is that it's manually updated by volunteers (API seems to have been shut down), so it's a bit outdated, but it's running just as fine on the latest patch
steamworkshop [dot] download
or ask google
I don't have anything setup for that at the moment but I will look into it.
In the meantime you can download any workshop item with tools like
{LINK REMOVED}http://steamworkshop.download/
There are other tools as well, this is just the first that google gave me.
P.S. One can't even comment on workshop items for a game that they don't have on their account which is why I'm writing this comment here.
I am assuming you mean Mod Configuration Tool || The Vandy Library
I just tested it and it works fine.
You probably have another mod that is broken.
Thank you for your awesome mod!
thx for trying and replying. It could be connected to this mod. If I get the time, I will try it myself.
What happened was that the confederated settlement looked like if you would look at it through the fog of war. But i'm not sure if it was just a visual bug. I went back to an older safe shortly after.
interesting, what happens if you do? I never did that.
Another tipp for using it: Don't confederate while having fog of war off.
tested it with CA game launcher and Kaedrin's mod manager
you probably have another broken mod
It does not conflict with my mod, it breaks mods in general because it itself is broken. You shouldn't be using it.
tested it with CA game launcher and Kaedrin's mod manager
but sadly, you have to search for it. Sadly it don't show me the map colors. So i know dircetly when somebody take a land. Why make ca it not so like in paradox games, where i can see the whole map, whats going on, but without seeing units.
Yes, I generally turn off the camera, press the accelerate button so that it doesn't show anything. Lack of fog of war really affects the duration of the turn calculation. I tested it like this: in a new game, the first move counts 17 seconds. Then I turned on the mod that opened the entire map and finished the same first move with it and the calculation lasted 1 minute (the camera was completely turned off and no one was watching).
But since you don't know if it's even possible to turn on full fog of war at all, I'll have to play around with this move calculation. But thanks for the advice!)
i dont know if resetting the fog of war is even possible. i dont know how to do that.
but if i understand you correctly: your problem is that your end turn times get very long.
There are 2 possibilities here:
1) it just takes forever. There is nothing i can do. your ability to see does not change the end turn calculation time
2) it takes long because your camera moves everywhere and shows you whats happening. then you should use the camera settings or skip it completly. Maybe even with the help of a mod. I use Faster End Turn Camera and set animation speed in the camera settings to fast or very fast movement
Hey. Sorry for my English) I have a strange request, you can make a similar mod, only on the contrary, it will turn on the fog of war everywhere except the player's territory (or all territory). Because the more territory is open, the longer it takes to calculate the stroke. And I always play, making a large number of alliances, so that by turn 100, 70% of the map is already open. And the calculation of the move lasts 2 minutes.
For example, the first calculations of the moves when the card is face down take 17 seconds. And with the open card mod, 1 minute. And at the late stage of the game, due to the large number of alliances, I myself have almost all the territory open. I wish I could close it while calculating the move) Could you create such a mod?)

if you want to go down that rabbit hole then you could enable the debug mod and paste the log somewhere like pastebin so i could take a look. but it could be literally anything.
If it doesn't work with ONLY this mod enabled let me know.
Is there a way to see if the mod is loading correctly ?
but it only happens if i change the scale. if i change it and reload the game the button is at the correct place.
