I think a moddor should ask permission to make a updated version of this at some point although I would not be the person to ask about this since I know not a lot

I hope this is usable in custom games of survival. But then again, I doubt it has a recipe.

update: idk why this didn't work at the time i installed the addon, but i re-installed it and it worked

my scrap mechanic ain't even recognizing the addon
like not even showing up in the mods menu

Checked in 0.5.1 Beta and it works fine now :D

This still kinda works in 0.3.5, it's just that the E function is broken. So you need to connect a button to the glitch welder, pressing it the 1st time will cut the painted block into memory, then pressing the 2nd time will spawn it back, and pressing more times will spawn more at the same spot. The "stack" feature is broken tho, so the memory can only cut once instead of multiple times.

People, the tool is completely broken since the last update. Please raise awareness so MJM gets informed.

It appears that, at least on the beta version, the glitch welder crashes the game when it tries to spawn stuff back in. Hopefully this is fixed soon.

That is with the beta test survival update enabled.

The last patch has broke the mod, since March 19th the tool has caused a crash every time I try to respawn a part after hiding it with the blue-paint mode. Please fix it asap!

Black, the welder could be non-reusable, so no duplicating. the parts that were eaten could only be used once.

and the game would not be as fun, because you would not have to work for anything.

no, dont put it in survival, it would create a massive balance issue. you could find one garment box, barely any metal and water and wood, and a little bit of cotton, and you would get all of the clothing in the game with no effort.
