this is only thing I could do. I successfully make the portraits and its animations can be displayed in selection.
Highly requiring someone can completely update it.

OK,I finished the problem that can not custom the empire with this mod's portraits. it is species mod need some more files after the machine age dlc update. I built two new files for it but I do not know if other file is working in this mod. If anyone want it , I can upload my version

looks like the Machine Age dlc has divided the Synthetic Race out for its content. Or the newly update with machine age dlc has change the Species Mod's rule of build. I have modified(delete some file) the copy of your mod for my personal needs which can successfully found in Robot/Machine portraits tab. I'm keeping studying the new Species mods in workshop to find what is key code.

is it possible that Machine Age Update has set a new sort with a different name or code, I can still see my old race face and animation in the created faction tab

I'm really confused, because the game won't allow me to set this portrait as a machine intelligence, or select it for an assimilator cyborg. And I have no idea what else this mod is supposed to do.

Could you add ships from the original mod? At least as a separate mod where there will be old black and blue ships up to the class "battleship", and the rest of the ships will look like vanilla "reptilian"

I am not 100% sure. It started as just wanting to get the mod working again but now I would like to expand it. I know I atleast want to be able to have a in game event to take a normal race to the synthetic evolution to the KSEN Race. Maybe some events or thing relating to the race to flush it out more like custom techs and stuff. Also color version of the portriats
Possibly have 2 versions of the race a advanced. with the custom tech and such and a basic

Actually what are your ambitions with this project? If you want/need help restoring parts of the mod I can lend a hand. I was able to get the trait and prescripted empire working, and was working on the system initializer (the system the prescripted empire spawned in) when you uploaded this.

So i fixed it. Now when playing with the synth race it will auto kick of the required events for the synthetic evolution. This allows the player not to have to worry about food production but also not use the machine intelligence.

What I would like to do next is set this as the evolution for a human race to evolve into during gameplay.

I do see what you mean. The Synth version should now have a grow population or habitability issues on planets. I will see about fixing this as im not 100% how to do it.

There are 2 versions a synthetic version that is biological but classed as a robot pop and a machine version for those who own synthetic dawn.

The Synth version shoould be able to use normal govt types while the machine one requires the machine govt type.

This mod seems interesting but I have a problem with the traits. I am said that the trait 'cybernetic' demands the archetype 'biologic' or 'lithoid'. What does it exactly means ? Should choose another apparence ? In that case it won't be the Xno race anylonger... Thanks for your support.
