This is what the humanoid shipset feels like it should have been, but couldn't for obvious legal reasons.
I love it! I like that its heavily pulling from Star Trek, but has its own sharp aesthetic and is adjusted nicely for Stellaris needs.

So it looks like when I downloaded the mod the game see it as the right version but I'm still not getting it to work. Load Order issue on my part? As I said before this looks like a real cool mod I'd just like to get it work properly and really see it shine.

That's just a thing that happens when ship models don't have defined points for turrets, it fires from the ship's origin point (center of model, ideally)

Hey man. Not sure what's happening, but for some reason, just with this shipset, neither the ships nor the stations fire anything, instead, everything is fired from a empty point in the middle of the map?

The models look nice. But have a massive texture aliasing problem. And when i looked further into it, I saw you forgot to save the textures with mipmaps. Mipmaps will fix the aliasing problem as well make it more performance efficient.
I also suggest halving the texture resolution on the normals and speculars. Don't really need them at same res as the diffuse to look good.

And if you aren't already, i suggest using nVidias latest Texture Tools Exporter:

It has the best compression quality I've seen yet for DXT (BC3) compression.

Hey is there anyway to make it so the ships use the games destruction animations? iirc they always just disappear out of existence when destroyed. Vanilla ships will drift and fall apart after being destroyed, makes everything more cinematic.

@Paulo: The mod is already compatible with 3.10; it's at no risk of becoming incompatible unless Stellaris majorly overhauls ship classes again. And the construction platform bug is not a result of this mod: when I tested with just this mod and nothing else, the construction platforms are still visible; so no worries.

For some reason this mod overrides Construction_Platform_Entity in the Megastructures list. It doesn't just add a new one with its own unique GFX culture, it overrides even the vanilla ones, and thus removes them from the game. Every single construction_platform_entity for every single megastructure in every single shipset, vanilla and modded, is now an untextured default cube.

Hi so as of recent i'd thought i would let you know that your federation shipset has somehow leaked into this shipset in my game. If this is intentional I freaken love this idea merging all your federation stuff into one. The only problem is something is quite buggy with it all you can only make it woek with corvettes atm but the name an the boxes for the other classes are there but they are blank. Love all your star trek contributions thus far I do hope so much that you continue your work thankyou.

Hey everyone! Please be kind about sending messages here. Demanding updates is in pretty poor taste. Cheek's not working on the mod now, but could be back if they fancy.

As far as I know, it should work fine with the current setup. I'll try to test it out more.

Regarding the firing from the sun part, it's easy: don't use it with NSC for now.

It seems that whether it's the normal version or the miniaturized version or the colored version, the attacks they send out when they attack Starport are all coming from the sun. (I banned NS2.season8)
