Hope it helps anyone!
In the 1st screenshot, the file with "-2" in the end is my manual save. I tried to change the ending to see if it will get fixed. (I've changed in the settings from ({index}) to -{index} since the default one was not working and I want to try something different to see if it will be fixed.) The default manual save file name is still -1 even though there are newer files with -2.
In the 2nd screenshot, I've waited for several minutes to trigger an autosave, and the -1 file was overwritten, -2 file was not touched.
Thank you so much for your timely response and patience!
@Revolus would you be willing to add compatibility with that mod, perhaps, instead of implementing the feature yourself? i.e. simply disable the "Autosave interval in hours" slider if RTAS is installed as well? It'd be great to keep the 'more autosaves' and 'separate autosaves per playthrough' aspects, but I can't give up RTAS with the hours of paused-game planning I tend to do 😅
Also I'm pretty sure it's save game compatible (and also apparently a huge lifesaver) so go lookin!
Right now I'm not able to update my mods, but you can manually change the settings:
Open the folder: C:\users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config
In there you can find the file Mod_2032167959_MoreAutosaveSlotsMod.xml. Inside of " <hours>…</hours>" you can set any posive integer you like.
Afterswards don't open the in-game settings dialog for More Autosave Slots, or the change will get lost.
