Have you tried to push the ore from the drills to the cargoblocks manualy, if its possible they are connected and it should work

Hey I've printed one of these off, but nothing is going from the drills to the cargo bays - any ideas?

Hello Amumu, the only thing interfering with cargo managment on the Atlas could be the sorters. It has a few sorters to push rocks to the ejectors to sort out rock and push it out making space for other or. you can turn the sorters and ejectors off from the cockpit on hotbar 1 Button 6. other than that its probably a problem with the script. try recompiling the script when the Atlas is docked to the station. Or try the guide for the script. hope that helps

first of i must say i love this ship! but i have a big isue i cant find what im doing wrong. when i dock on station all my factorys and so stop working cuz it drains stuffs from my inventory so conectors get junked, i use Isy's Inventory Manager to sort my base but once docked entire world stops for me. it fills hydrogen but no ice or ammo just random stuffs from my base i need like crash next to it and enter ice manuslly and ammo i dont know if its isy scrips or im doing something wrong pls help :)

Hi Ginger, thank you for the question. i think you having a problem with a different Blueprint. can you tell me witch Blueprint it is then i can help you. about the rotor is it maybe a rotor head ? they dont show up on the controll panel. if its a base maybe its hidden on the panel. there is a option to show hidden blocks.

Hi DerMakrat, Hope all is well. Just wanted to ask if im doing something wrong with the hanger door. I have placed everything from the projector hologram and when i press button to open it disconnects from merge block and falls off the ship. The rotor part is there but doens't come up in control panel. Any info is appreciated :D

What would be your thoughts on possibly making a bigger version of this or bigger versions of the whole XL set (Like XXL)? For example, one that uses 8- 9 drills. I'm asking because there aren't many big small grid mining ships, and I quite like small grid mining ships lol.

yes that was a compromise. any more cargo and it would not have fit the size requirment. Glad you like it :)

They are fine i think they going to marry soon :)
Other then that there is a array of 10 small atmospheric thrusteres on both sides. They are only cabable of stabilisation for the craft the cant support the hole ship and cargo. So dont fly with the left or right side rotated to the ground. Hope that helps

Dear Grimreaper, Thank you very much for your Comments. It gave me immense joy to read them. im very happy that you like my Blueprints. To see the uniform Button layout geting appriciated shows me the work i put into that was not wasted :). I also think that the Rovers are realy fun to drive i sometimes just blast arround in multiplayer fisiting other bases. Have you tryed the Hedo rally Racing World its a real joy for single and multiplayer? glad to here the issue with the Reactors on the atlas was already resolved by you. let me here if you have any other question. and thanks again for your comment you made my day ;)

Never mind the question on the reactors, seems that turning them on and enabling conveyor seems to have loaded the internals, from my base, weird, as when i tried to load them via my inventory, i could not, for sure i made some mistake :), anyways, great work on your ships, it is highly apreciated!

I am a no-good creative creator, I am thankful that guys like you are here to design ships that are both functional and great looking, mine always turns out as ugly boxes and flies like shit, I really like your line of ships and land rovers, especially the land rovers are a blast, I never paid any attention to those, but due to material shortages I had to build one in my last playthrough, and what a rush, those are rockets on wheels and incredibly fun and easy to drive (If you mind your speed that is :) ) also the functionality their share between designs, makes it easy to shift from one ship to another, without having to remember what this ship buttons do, great work!

On the Atlas reactors specifically, I am only able to reach the forward-facing and one of the rear where the "hatch" is just peeping out between armor, I am not able to use the conveyors it seems, even when turning them on for the reactors, is there a special trick to loading the last two?

@Izzin, thank you for your feedback and question. i think your explenation for that behavier is is correct. the Pam cant differentiate between all Atlas ships and is dicconecting all of them. I have a soulution for that but its not a very easy ine. a a number to all the blocks of all the Atlas mining ships. "Connector back "Atlas1"" or ""Connector back "Atlas2"". this way it would makes sure witch one to target. i was playing with the idea to publish nummbered varients. of the Mining ships. What do you think ?

Love your ships, and the work you have done to incorporate PAM into them as well.
I do have an odd problem that I am trying to track down -
I have 6 Atlas ships all set in drone mode with PAM, however I have a strange behavior that happens and I have not been able to isolate it.
When I go to setup another ship, Atlas that are docked will disconnect from connectors, and PAM will stop. It only happens to ships that are the same, IE, my 6 Altas will disconnect from connectors, their batteries will be in recharge mode. I have to reconnect them and restart PAM for them to take off.
I Have another one of your ships also set with PAM, the Ajax, and that one is not affected. I can only imagine it is because all of them share some names/module tags. I have adjusted the LCD to reflect different names, as well as Antennas to report different names.
Thoughts/Guidance on what I need to change to make sure that 1 ship does not impact the others?

Well there is also a other reason for adding hangar with small grid miner other then precision mining and that is to aid the larger ship out of tough or stuck underground. As for offensive ships you dont need them to be piloted version it could be remote control attck drones witch can be be cheap to make an a nuisance to enemies

Well then let's add 2 more option for it if you don't mind:

1) pending on the size you make it, you could build a hangar bay for storing from 1-3 of the smaller miner for more precicion digging with the same enviromental characteristic as the big ship (Silas, Athena, Atlas) so it could be use for base building or pure miner or a combat ship for defense purpose.

2) juste cargo and need a base to unload and refine it ore or having a few refinery on board.
witch ever you pick there gonna be a down side to both. if you go for pure cargo then then you have the travel time to unload and if you go for the internal refinery you lose cargo space for refinery that might not be able to keep up with the mining load.


ps. i wonder if PAM would work for large grid miner?

My Friend DerMakrat I have the ultimate challenge for you ant it is to create a large grid version of the Atlas and the Sirius, a 1:1 (1 small grid block = 1 large grid block).

I know that some block don’t have a large block variant like the Gatling guns so you can use the offensives block like the static version of the missile launcher instead, as long as they serve the same purpose it alright....

So will you take up this challenge my friend??

@Khestral That's a feature of the PAM script. It's not smart enough to record how much power is used (and it could vary in the next trip if it drills into a hole or gets momentarily stuck.) It's not really impacting efficiency - as long as you have good power generation it takes as long to recharge 80% if it's doing it all in one shot or in four separate ones at 20% each. And leaving with 100% charge means it's less likely to go "Oops...." and drop out of the sky with no power.

So something really odd, I am using this amazing vehicle, however :D When it docks it forces the batteries to fully recharge before leaving to continue the job. It is set to min 30%

Max: I don't think ti's possible to set the drills to rotate the opposite direction (nor do I experience it in this ship). It might just be that on your other ship, you don't heave enough gyros to counter the torque... or if you have the drills on a subgrid, that will cause a lot of oddities with physics

Aargh. I was afraid that was the case. I believe the fact that the drills counter-rotate helps make the Atlas ship much more stable. The ship I am designing shakes horribly with eight drills in two rows. The only way I know to help fight that is by adding mass, which means more thrusters, which means shorter battery life, which means more batteries, which means more mass, which means more thrusters....... This vessel is awesome! Thank you for publishing it. Also, I noticed the upper row of drills on the Atlas rotate opposite of the bottom row. I am designing a tunnel driller and cannot figure out how to make this happen. Could you please share how this is done?

The Shops IS fuly funktional without Scripts. Exept There is No automining, No Shoplayout Screen and No Cargo and Energy statistic
