the block spawner should be remove automatic if the custom imp house is removed.
But i recommend not use pet ai. it has some strange behavior.
You can clear a save with imp_pets the mp_pets disallwoed in this world. Look at my orc mod, but the is no "in game killcomand".
I have been playing around with your mod and the xml, there is now a ai for imp_pet - i tried using imp_pets and everything works until the imps never despawn, forgot to add life_time to the imp_pet.
However are you able to update the block spawner to be removed when the house for imps is removed? also is there any way to destroy all imp_pets from world on last block remove?
But how to hatch one?
I haven't found the recipe for the egg incubator, nor does the wiki explain when to get it.
I'm in the campains third level (desert).
The shop sells the imp house (25 Gold),
from the house, imps spawn and i get eggs.
But when i try the recipes from your pictures, i'm not able to build anything.
What am i doing wrong?
30 years+ ago BASIC family with some rudimentary knowledge of C family, what helps for some small changes. For my understanding, LUA is not fully implemented or there are no further CTW functions, only which the DEF uses in your scripts. I search the CTW.Exe with HEX-Editor and found nothing more. So i think the functions / methods are Hardcoded.
With the Mountain DLC and the Hero DLC came some methods to call scripts.
And is there for other modder to learn some tricks for there projects.
imps mobs.
The Dev Patch Imp House work like a Pethouse, which spawns a "Imp-Pet", i tried that first, but there whas no imp pet ai at this time, so it spawns normal imp a like a virus and did not stop, it would have overload your game.

The MAC Version ist not listet in Workshop, so other people should not run into it by acident.
I don't know the Game/Steam/files structure on MAC. I can not test this and i have no unix and her childs skills. Is there no "FileCommander" like tool on Mac?
This mod is tricky, something you can not do with the GameEditor.
Maybe ist just an error becouse of case sensetive filenames? I dont'know.

My guess is that a Mac would require sudo rights to copy to the game file. They are hidden and not in the user account. I will play with terminal when I get some free time. Currently, if that other mod is loaded, it hard crashes the game/steam and hard reset is required. Maybe put a warning on that other mod not to use-testing only.

I tried the new version, got the same results.
@crowtalker Aha now i have an idea. The Problem is your Unix based filessystem. As i write in the moddescription i use a special "pathing for files", a "old dos trick" for jumping in directories because pathing is hardcoded. The Game don't find 2 importend files on Mac. Maybee i can fix it.

I used the incubator on the third level, the desert world. I bought one imp house and two incubators, it produced enough imps for the rest of the playthrough on that level. ;)
Ok i will decrease egg drob from Gargoles.
My mod is not responsable for what the doors drop, seem sometimes the drop all random stuff what is in game, even service items.
But maybee ist was from a mod or it was not the door but it can be from a block wich is somtimes near by them in some rooms :) but i will add a tick that it drops just once.
And an i will made Imp egg food too.
Did you hatch the eggs in the incubator?
Note - i dont play with this mod only but with a collection of mods. Possibly the problems can come from a mod conflict as far as i know, i am not a modder.
The random spawns from this mod are still too high. Whenever i fight an invasion i am always left with 20-50 eggs and at the end of the level (campaign level 2 Ice world) i had over 300 eggs.
When i opened a rune door on the ice level i found the secret recipe 2 out of 3 times.
Is there a way to make the drops a bit less intrusive? When you have unlocked the secret recipe it doesnt drop again or similarly.
Alternatively make an imp omelette recipe, it would solve the problem of too many eggs in the inventory that can only be hatched.
