Congrats. Turning is easy. It just is very confusing. But if you turn slowly and just look for the exit, if you see it, stop moving and you keep seeing the exit. Then just shoot the portal.

yes! i did it. it ook many tries in the second room. i just couldnt turn but finally flew.

nope i cant get any kind of accelleration i just fling out the first time i step into the portal

Yes, that is exactly what you need to do. You must try and go into the bottom portal with just enough speed to fall back in. I usually crouch as I go in, such that I am hovering in the top portal without falling out. Walking forward usually is enough to get it right. You can try jumping in too, or walk forward with enough momentum.

im sorry im still not getting this one the top light is on the wall and the bottom is on the floor. i cant put by back against the wall and walk into the portal on the floor because it is not close to the wall . and when i do walk into the portal on the floor i just fling out a little. im doing something wrong

This is what you need to do, given the video is no longer working... As you enter the puzzle, look left. From this viewpoint, move to the right so you are close to the right-most side. Shoot one portal above the top light and another below the bottom light.

Now, stand with your back against that wall, slowly walk into the bottom portal and once you have a constant motion, hold crouch to start accellerating fast. Then shoot a portal on the floor somewhere and you should shoot out with great speed.

Thanks The Kess. I actually had this idea for quite some time myself and at first I thought it was not possible either. At least, not as this.

I started to experiment with what was possible and at first it seemed I could only gain height, so I built a ledge to jump to that you could use to make the fling or walk to a distance. While testing that, I accidentally got the fling needed to complete this level. From there you can imagine what happened next :D

I've had this idea but I did not know that it could be applied like this. Well done.
