Just my opinion, that's all
- This clothing was just a reskin of one of the dusters, but I have an akatsuki robe mod up with a fully modelled robe based on the series.
- The project I was working on before I took a break might be just what you are thinking of...
This. I would love to see this omg please. Especially Berserk
I chose TS and Hub as vendor options as I feel most people who download a simple weapon mod want to access the item as quickly and easily as possible in order to enjoy it.
Thanks for helping me
I would start by making weapons - armour and animations are much harder and require an understanding of "armatures" (the skeletons used for animation). There are hundreds of tutorials for Blender on Youtube that will explain the software better than I (or any text alone) ever could. If you need help with FCS there are lots of Kenshi modding communities (and a discord) out there or you can add me. Good luck, and if you want to use this sword model for learning and creating your own assets you are 100% welcome to do so, no credit is necessary.
@SENTIONAUT First you will want to download "Blender" and "GIMP". The former is a 3D poly-modelling/sculpting/rendering/animation software and where you will spend 98% of the time. The latter is image editing software, that as of the most recent versions will both support and export the .dds format which is the format that you (and Kenshi) will use and where you will spend 1% of the time. Most importantly both of these are completely free software without any catches. The final 1% of the time you will spend in FCS or Forgotten Construction Set, Kenshi's own fantastic database-style editing software that is included in the game (just select Game Editor from the steam startup window).
Can you or anybody else reading this, maybe recommend me some sources for learning this modding stuff too? I am curious about how this all works, to get new content like swords, armor or maybe even animations into the game.
