Took it down briefly to see if Harpoon Delta is broken. Meant to play it through but didn't get time. Have played it through without major issues but received at least one error thanks to a rank spelling mistake. Didn't seem mission breaking. I have since since moved to a different scripting method.

@Dr. Death ah no worries. Yeah skill level is randomized each spawn but the CSAT guys have a higher max and I have noticed they can sometimes be pretty deadly. Am working on another similar mission and will try and make it less difficult.

The issue isn't that i get flanked, i wouldn't complain if that was the case. My issue is that the AI LOVES to snaps and 1 hit kill me.

Thank you for all the comments :) @Dr. Death AI skill level is randomized. I haven't made any changes to the AI except telling them where to move in scripts. Script will try to move units furthest away from the enemy position towards the enemy first and varies the angle of approach. This means you and/or friendly AI often get jumped just after shooting one of them if you happen to be in a tight urban space. The AI also stays grouped while moving in buildings meaning that your position is communicated as it would be normally to other group members when spotted. Recommend restarting the mission if possible. @Foxtrot Voice acting was indeed done in house except for some of the ship speaker system voices which were purchased from audio sites.

The mission is phenomenal, but the AI is too brutal. Although this could be just a base game issue is it possible to turn the AI down a bit?

I give it a 9/10 because it is a great mission, but (at least in the german translation) there are a few typos and some sentences could be better from the position of the sentence.
Do you allow me to help with that topic?

Also in the cutscene before entering the village the Localization is missing.

All around great mission mate. Very optimised imo, kudos there.
Really smooth work with all your cinematic shots too enjoyed it along with the awesome voice work.
And yeh as others have mentioned, it was fun starting on the carrier for a change.

@Preacher: I had been working on the mission on and off for a few weeks. The scripts took longer but had been rehashed multiple times and I was working on a package of scripts that would make it easier for me to make missions and script triggers in the future. This mission was the test bed for some of those scripts.

@Preacher: For the AI to clear buildings you have to manually give each unit the order to move to a specific house position. I have a loop script that check if a unit is ready to move back to group formation and then stops them from moving back to their Squad leader.

Very nice! Good balance, well done scripts, and cutscenes with flying by rockets and aircraft are awesome. Should say that scenario is real sweet with ACE3 and JSRS, just a little bug in final cutscene because of ACE3 and !alive officer condition. Good job!:steamhappy:
