Found a hilarious bug with the thieves: a dying enemy megascarab on the other side of the map somehow exposed a thief and notified us XD

Is it intended that thieves' names are visible when they're trying to sneak to you? I mean, it's prtty funny and rewards being observant - just curious if it's intentional.

I think "Homesick" in that case would mean he wants to travel to the stars or somewhere else far away. wanderlust? IDK I could head canon that.

Before anyone asks... Miles is updating his mods, and he typically suggests you look at his discord for progress regarding his update progress.

So be patient if this "breaks" with 1.5.

A child of my colony got the home sick event, it is beyond redundant for colony born pawns to get this event for obvious reasons.

Hello! This mod is making RW close directly to desktop.

Happened suddenty always at 15h in game. I supposed it was an event. Removed this Mod and it's working fine now!

@sedartnwolc I think it's pronounced phonetically as "M-Lee" (em-lee) or something close to that. (might be "em-lie" too though)
Whatever the case, Mlie is one of the best mod authors and mod upkeepers around. Without him I would not have nearly as many mods installed right now.

How do you resolve the sabotages? And Homesick? Also, is the thief from another faction or is it like that "traitor" event from VEE?

Seems like some of these incidents don't work with my modlist, which incidents spawn a Scavenger, is that the Thief incident?

Disabling the incident should work, I just do not want to disable the whole mod.

I have an 8 year old colony, have seen a thief stealing something once, name of the stolen item was missing in the text, and alsso one colonist was homesick for few days. No cliques, sabotages or quarrels yet, so these events seem to be very rare currently. I remember thief being a real problem when the mod was new, if caught he fleed or fought, now the guy just walks calmly away and it's easy to shoot him, he won't fight back. Liked the old thief way better.

@velcroboy333 I just updated this mod and that kind of functionality is a bit beyond what I have time to do. But the code for this mod is available if anyone wants to use this as a start for building a positive-events mod.

@velcroboy333 - Some good ideas. One nitpick though; isn't there already a function in the base game similar to You Saved My Life? I don't use this mod but I swear I've seen a "Rescued Me" tag on the social tabs of pawns in the past.

There was some conversation on the original mod's page about adding positive events. Some I suggested were...

Battle Bonds-formed during intense battles when pawn fight close to each other.

You saved my life-when one pawn rescues another.

Wanderlust-unhappy unless they get to go on caravans frequently.

Bro Fights-sometimes beating each other up brings us closer

Setting Down Roots (opposite of Homesick)-finally escaped the crowded, flashy Glitter Worlds, this pawn is happy to settle down on the rim

Annual Patriotism Day-Pawns gather to celebrate their accomplishments and sacrifices and put aside their differences. (Chance to counter the Cliques scenario)


Just wondering if anyone working on this mod would be interested in adding some of them?

@ 烽燧煜明 none of the mods I update have any license or are using the MIT-license witch permits any use as long as the original license is attached. Since most of the mods authors have not been active for a long time its not really possible to wait for a response.
I have updated over a hundred mods at this point and only about ten have been taken down, of witch only one have caused irritation of the original author.
Some have added statements to their original mod that my version is the replacement so if you want to be sure, only translate those.

@Mlie Here's a dilemma:'cause you re-uploaded a lot of mods,now it became a headache for the translators. We cannot sure if you get permitted,so if we translate these mods may make the original modders unhappy. But on the other hand,'cause you had uploaded the new version,the original modders might stop their update. Now we can't translate the mods.
Wish you can add a line that tells us "it's permitted and official",then we can translate it without
any danger to annoy the modders.
