Update: Wonderful mod, It still works! ( for me ) Doesn't need an update! FYI Cities Skylines community make sure to let everyone know ( with accurate info and back up ) for you favorite mods to update it or there is conflict with a specific mod ( mods ) or in general :)

thank you, i fixed it
patrioticparadox 27 Jun @ 7:09am
You should not use the editor with 99% of mods. It taints whatever you're working on.
Natty Gaming 27 Jun @ 6:37am
Why when downloading this, the editor option becomes greyed out? Am I doing something wrong?
patrioticparadox 25 Jun @ 4:46pm
That's a you problem, buddy. The mod works just fine. Try reading the description above and following the instructions if you want to get any help with it.
mrdo2000 25 Jun @ 3:19pm
Can you please fix this mod? It says that it couldn't find one of its dependencies/DLLs or something like that.
patrioticparadox 19 Jun @ 5:43am
Can confirm it's working on Linux. Using an Arch-based distro here.
Ivanhoose 18 Jun @ 3:37pm
@algernon.. nevermind.. unless it says its incompatible, now seems to work. Last time I used the game crashed and i need to remove it. Thanks anyway
algernon 18 Jun @ 3:21pm
@Ivanhoose What do you mean by "not working"?
Ivanhoose 18 Jun @ 3:14pm
Hey there! this mod is not working with current Linux version game. Is there any way to fix? Because its needed to run all sum of mods. Thanks!
algernon 16 Jun @ 5:48am
@SERVER No, this mod doesn't do any of that, and can't. It's just a library used by other mods and does nothing by itself. If you're having issues, then the problem is with another mod. Use Skyve to check your modlist and make sure you're using modern mods, since what you're describing is often seen with users who have subscribed to mods that don't work with the latest game versions.
SERVER 15 Jun @ 9:24pm
this mod is making my UI blue in map editor and stopping all functions of move it mod :(

@patrioticparadox If you can't find my GitHub page without a link, then you're not a developer yourself, and should not be criticizing others that they are not a developer.

Also, why are bots being used to purposely aggravate long-time customers? Its disrespectful to your customers.
patrioticparadox 30 May @ 6:39am
See, the thing of it is, the terminology you use is so close to being meaningful but then departs from what an experienced developer would say. For you to seemingly be unaware of the development lifecycle would indicate that you are not an experienced developer. Perhaps it's something you're interested in, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to pursue it, but pump your brakes on telling people how to maintain their creations.

Also, let's see that git, bro. Where's the link?
Cosmic Cleric 29 May @ 1:59pm
@CHZ PFFS Well, you could just go and see my GitHub page, if you need proof. Otherwise, just insulting someone because you don't have any valid thing to say is what is really embarrassing.
patrioticparadox 22 May @ 9:52pm
Bruh, they were being nice. They're right and you're wrong. Leave it.
Cosmic Cleric 22 May @ 9:46pm
@algernon "Unfortunately, those messages are now effectively meaningless (unless you're using mods that are many years old), as mods that worked several versions ago are still fine."

You can't guarantee that. Each and every next update to the game can potentially break mods. That's actually a norm of all games that allow/have mods loadable in, again, especially those who inject their code into the game client.

Its really the responsibility of the coder for a mod for a game to at least take a few minutes and make sure the mod runs with the newest client and then mark the mod as compatible, vs. just telling people that it'll just be ok the game won't break.
algernon 22 May @ 5:32pm
@Cosmic Cleric Yes, it's unfortunate that that message is there; I appreciate the intent of adding it when the game was being regularly updated, but now that the only updates don't affect code mods those messages seem to cause nothing but confusion. Unfortunately, those messages are now effectively meaningless (unless you're using mods that are many years old), as mods that worked several versions ago are still fine.

Unfortunately, pushing unnecessary updates to mods can cause issues with mod loading order for some players, especially when it's a dependency mod such as this one (just look back in the discussion history here for examples), so best practice is to NOT push updates that are not required for core functionality.
Cosmic Cleric 22 May @ 4:37pm
@algernon I am: "This mod was not made with the current game version and may not work as expected.", and "Some of the mods that are currently installed were made for a different version of the game. It is possible that this causes compatibility issues. If you experience unexpected errors, please consider deactivating mods that were made for a different version."

I'm a software developer by trade, so I'm aware of the point you were trying to get across, but still, its usually (YMMV) not safe to play with outdated mods, especially the ones that use code injection to work.
Dr. Zlo 20 May @ 7:52am
попался, пират?
patrioticparadox 16 May @ 7:35pm
Yeah, man. Most of those mods require Harmony. You probably got to this point by subbing to a collection. The problem with doing that is that Steam doesn't know to install the dependencies of the individual mods when you do that.
channu 16 May @ 7:26pm
THISSSSS ISSS THE CULPRIT! ive been looking to see why my node controller mod, intersection marking tool, literally half of my mods werent working properly on new saves... and all along it was harmony? i might be wrong and insane, as my game itself has always been a lil glitchy cus i dont really keep track of or care for organizing and going through my mods so it could definitely be me but im so sick of not being able to properly detail my cities. I really could be wrong... but i mean most of the time the thing that says "the mod is compatible with" is almost never wrong...
algernon 14 May @ 3:41pm
@Cosmic Cleric This mod still works fine and no updates are needed. Modding is done outside of employment and there is no relationship between the two.

What is the exact text of the "incompatibility warning" that you're getting? Are you confusing the courtesy notification that a mod hasn't been built against a particular game version with some sort of 'incompatibility' message?
Cosmic Cleric 14 May @ 3:19pm
Considering that Cities Skylines 2 is out, and that this mod is done by an employee of Colossal Order, is this mod still being worked on? I'm getting a incompatible warning (I've tried unsubbing/resubbing). Is this mod still being maintained/advanced?
patrioticparadox 14 May @ 3:10pm
Try unsub/resub.
1erdal 14 May @ 2:57pm
hi guys, how can I update the version of Harmony Mod? I get the error that the mod is not up to date
patrioticparadox 13 May @ 8:18am
No, you're not the only one having issues. NO, it is not because of this mod. This works fine.
ayaxelgrande 13 May @ 8:10am
Doesn't work
pablopmorales99 13 May @ 7:48am
Am I the only one having issues with this mod?
algernon 1 May @ 4:38pm
@babygal484 Yes, this one. This is fully compatible with the latest game version.
babygal484 1 May @ 1:32pm
Does anyone have a harmony link that is capable with version 1.19?
StuPiPidCaT 12 Apr @ 9:44pm
good
algernon 12 Apr @ 5:05pm
@Nuzza <.< This mod can't cause errors; it just sits there doing nothing, as it's just a library used by other mods.
Nuzza <.< 12 Apr @ 3:30pm
Getting constant error in game. Thought it was other mods that caused it. Even with every mod unsubscribed and only Harmony enabled it is still the same issue
Duffarex 11 Apr @ 7:10pm
Amazing mod :Dave_thumb2:
algernon 2 Apr @ 2:47pm
@ColdSpaCe7 Update for what? No update is needed; this still works fine.
MightyThor769 2 Apr @ 4:47am
update please
algernon 29 Mar @ 11:40pm
@sszxdzaedddf This mod doesn't do anything by itself; it's just a library that's used by other mods. Nothing you do is going to make it do anything on its own.
会积极洗碗的!! 28 Mar @ 10:41pm
很好用
sszxdzaedddf 28 Mar @ 10:25pm
WHY ISNT IT WORKING WHEN I HAVE IT ON :steamfacepalm:
algernon 27 Mar @ 3:07pm
The technique of patching Unity C# game code was originally developed by cope for Cities: Skylines. This concept was further refined by by Andreas Pardeike who developed Harmony, originally released for RimWorld.

Since then Harmony has been ported to many Unity games and is a standard part of Unity modding practice. Cities: Skylines requires a slightly modified version (this one) to overcome the incompatibility issues between Harmony 1 and Harmony 2 (most games don't have to deal with this issue because they haven't been around and supported for as long as Cities: Skylines).

patrioticparadox 22 Mar @ 7:46am
They said it's also in Rimworld. That's because it's in a lot of things. Link for info.
