Disclaimer: Newbies are welcome, but you will need to have at least read the rules!
Thank you for the quite extensive work on this, ZiRo, and I hope it's working great!
How do we use the Momentum and Capabilities Box?
I manually moved the card & counter there, but at the Coup round it threw up an error.
Game doesn't crash or anything, but I'd like to know how I'm meant to do this
When you get the bot, I suspect it'll be easy enough to use TTS along with the physical bot
But a compromise like that? I think its a fine line.
Indeed, solitaire bot charts are not included. This is a direct request from the mothership. GMT Games are watching, and are happy that this mod exists, but have specifically (and directly) asked me that solitaire charts are not included. These are reasonable terms for this mods continued existence -- they could easily ask Steam to remove it.
To be clear, and final: For solo play with bots, you are expected to use the solitaire bot charts from your physical copy of the game.
The collection used this priority system:
1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.
Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.
Thanks for your hard work!
This is the best scripted game I've come across on TTS, kudos and thank you Ziro. Just curious if there's any desire to make the black and white pawns smaller? Cheers!
I am new to TTS and new to FitL so I might be missing something but I am trying to find the flow charts I think for non player factions for solo/solitaire play?
- Support/Oppose is now a 5-state object with Neutral in the middle
- Increased player pawn size to make them more obvious (you really can't miss them) and added Clear Pawn buttons
- Added 3 coloured dice as per original game
- Map is now not interactable
- Some other misc tweaks
I had added compressed PDFs which meant lower file size (better for loading) but they were compressed, which made them taxing for some users, causing crashes.
I do think 5-stated support/neutral/opposition would be ideal. Saves some time dragging pieces to and fro.
Clear up pawn buttons
5-stated support/oppose markers
Make the board interactable, with some other tweaks I'll need to make to make that possible
@everyone who posted up, thanks for your support - let's not feed the troll any more :)
On the development front, I'm intending to make a couple of material improvements this weekend, but they're just convenience improvements, nothing to stop you starting a game this weekend!
