very cool

I'm feeling stupid, because of rate for the map's difficulty
Daniel Shine 7 21 Sep, 2023 @ 6:58am
Wow, that last move took me WAY too long. Incredible chamber!
G4lvatron 10 Apr, 2023 @ 12:20am
Nice puzzle :)
doctor of sex and physics 3 Aug, 2022 @ 1:56am
Somehow much easier than #9, really smooth design and the music is addictive af

Nice one, but do quicksave this spot. without doing quicksave you may at worst end up having to replay the whole solve from square one. The Reliquaie map that this one derive from also has timed play but it was boom-done-right away thing much easier to solve mechanically while this one feels more or less simpler mentally but require choreography.
waghihgaghhhhn 18 Jun, 2022 @ 9:11am
nice map:steamthumbsup:. takes me a bit time to solve
exponential wizard 20 May, 2022 @ 10:04am
The first fizzler is cheesable by throwing the cube, still a little bit of a challenge afterwards.
SpielSatzFail 15 May, 2022 @ 2:50pm
This one should be next to #7 as it has a similar design :-)
Thumbs up.
StackSmasher789 14 May, 2022 @ 6:43am
Great chamber and great music. Very satisfying.
Mikeastro  [author] 2 Apr, 2022 @ 6:44pm
@RonDeSantis_Gaming Thank you very much :D I'm happy to hear that you liked both the puzzle and the music! As for the difficulty, I just kinda eyeballed it, but it's always hard to accurately predict in advance. In addition, I tried to mix the test elements up a bit which may have skewed the order a little bit here and there
JiggleYourJerkyMrTurkey 2 Apr, 2022 @ 5:49pm
Great map, and amazing music! I almost got distracted by how good the song was. Only thing I will ask is how do you determine the difficulty of your maps? The reason I'm asking is because this test (and #11) were way easier for me than the previous two tests.
Despite that, I'm still loving the series so far!
Tsuki 2 Feb, 2022 @ 10:35am
i really love the use of the reseting cube mechanic, great maps
quat 27 Jan, 2021 @ 10:31pm
went through this one with no trouble.. but i'm still stuck on #7, lol
Silenius 18 Nov, 2020 @ 10:49am
So simple yet so difficult! Your maps are hardest maps on size and count of elements i saw! Really brilliant! I would like to see bigger map from you, why maintaining complexity in ratio of elements/size. It would be crazy!!! As longer it takes to solve, it is more fun and more rewarding! At least for me...
Mikeastro  [author] 22 Oct, 2020 @ 5:14am
@Muzozavr Excellent work solving it :D Once more, I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed it. Only two more puzzles to go...
Muzozavr 22 Oct, 2020 @ 4:28am
Update: finally solved it properly! I think I struggled on this one a bit less than on #7, but only because #7 laid a lot of groundwork. I turned out to be quite horrible at timing a few of the moves, though, quicksave/quickload are definitely helpful on this map.

A beautiful puzzle that really pushes the original concept to the nth degree. And I see you managed to pull it off with only two fizzlers this time, like you wanted with the other one. ;)
Muzozavr 21 Oct, 2020 @ 6:26am
I was just about to say I tested and successfully pulled off the 4 portals version of this route, and now I see I overlooked the possibility of shooting into the grate directly from the starting point... never realized that was a possible shot! So for glitch abuse solutions, 3 portals is the real minimum, as shown in the video you linked, which is crazy to even think about.

Also, if you shoot that grate portal sideways (but still as close to the exit ledge as possible) you can walk even closer to the exit ledge, which means you won't even have to move after you clip through, it happens all by itself. Didn't know that while making the video. ;)
Mikeastro  [author] 21 Oct, 2020 @ 6:08am
@Muzozavr Haha yeah that solution was shown to me before, here, but it was very enjoyable to hear your commentary :D It's quite a silly bug - I guess I should have fixed it at some point, but eh xD
Also, excellent work solving the previous map - indeed, pressing a button through the grating is a move I would rather avoid using, but I couldn't find a good way to do so while designing that map. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it regardless
Muzozavr 21 Oct, 2020 @ 5:54am
Not bothering to spoiler tag this, because it's not a legitimate solution... it's a bug. ;)

UNINTENDED GLITCH SOLUTION

Found in the first few minutes because I enjoy messing with these small grates. I normally don't have any luck glitch-hunting, but this was the exception to that rule.

Obviously, I'll be trying to solve the puzzle properly later on, but thought you might want to know. It's 255% not legit, but still a fun little physics exploit which, in this specific map, has pretty spectacular abuse potential. :P

(Sorry for the audio levels being a little eh, my settings are set for recording Portal: Prelude and that has quieter music, or maybe I just spoke quieter this time. You can still hear my glitch instructions, though.)
Mikeastro  [author] 24 Aug, 2020 @ 2:47pm
@P75Formula Jr Thank you once again! I'm very happy to hear that you liked both the puzzle and the music :D Also great work solving #11, only one to go...
A05Polzar 24 Aug, 2020 @ 2:11pm
That was a very nice and clever solution, and I also agree with this one having the best background music in the series so far.
Mikeastro  [author] 24 Aug, 2020 @ 1:10pm
@KØ414 B33R Thanks a lot for playing once more! Excellent work solving it. I'm glad you enjoyed
KØ414 B33R 24 Aug, 2020 @ 1:07pm
Nice variation a previous map. Another elegant solution. Your maps are refreshing challenges compared to so many other mods. Thanks for another one! [Still working on #9 ;-) ]
BehindPortal 24 Aug, 2020 @ 10:51am
pretty good and clever one. :p2cube:fav

@mr. Out Thanks for playing :] Excellent work solving it!
mr. Out 17 Jun, 2020 @ 4:46am
I don't think, than this music is the best of your series. But the puzzle make this better ;P
Mikeastro  [author] 23 May, 2020 @ 5:49pm
@Towelie Clegane Haha well 99% of the workshop will be ''pretty easy'' after doing Indecision :P I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless :]
Towelie Clegane 23 May, 2020 @ 5:34pm
wow this is pretty easy after doing indecision. It looked alot like a previous one. fun tho, thanks
Mikeastro  [author] 3 May, 2020 @ 4:53pm
@Ocean 谢谢 真的很棘手
Ocean 3 May, 2020 @ 3:43am
还不错 难度是有的 我花了半个小时规划路线才过关 不错的关卡 感谢作者的精心制作
quatrus 18 Apr, 2020 @ 11:33am
nice map - but I'm terrible at dropping cubes on buttons took me forever. Thanks for creating.

@wildgoosespeeder Thank you for catching up with the series! Excellent work solving everything. I'm glad you enjoyed :D
wildgoosespeeder 13 Apr, 2020 @ 2:20pm
I remembered the trick in #7 and solved this one a bit more quickly than my first attempt. Well played!
Mikeastro  [author] 7 Apr, 2020 @ 6:08pm
@Nobody No-One Thanks :]
@canberkcanay Yeah it is quite tricky indeed. Maybe it would be a good idea to start at the beginning of the series - it will be sure to enhance your experience :]
canberkcanay 7 Apr, 2020 @ 4:28pm
Hardest map that i played so far, i needed watched the solution on youtube...
Nobody No-One 7 Apr, 2020 @ 9:44am
Very nice
Mikeastro  [author] 5 Apr, 2020 @ 6:26pm
@Joric Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed :D Might update, we'll see
@Dark Rozen Thanks for playing. Indeed you solved it fairly quickly
Dark Rozen 5 Apr, 2020 @ 2:11pm
Pretty cool map, Didn't take me too long. Some pretty cool portal management.
Joric 5 Apr, 2020 @ 1:38pm
Perfect map! Aha moments, all presents. Difficulty is about right. Maybe add anti-Narkodes protection in update 2.
Mikeastro  [author] 5 Apr, 2020 @ 12:48pm
@Jade BGE Thanks a lot for playing once again :D Glad you liked this one too
Jade BGE 5 Apr, 2020 @ 12:46pm
Great modification of this map. This was easier for me perhaps because I struggled a bit with the first one but perhaps not. Great job, and I thank you for making it for us all. Thumbs up!
Mikeastro  [author] 5 Apr, 2020 @ 11:54am
@可砸 Thanks a lot for playing :D Your solution was perfect!
可砸 5 Apr, 2020 @ 8:07am

Mikeastro  [author] 5 Apr, 2020 @ 5:28am
@Narkodes Thank you for the video! Fully intended. Nice work not getting distracted by all the red herrings :]
@jandlml Thanks for playing :] I'm glad you enjoyed
@Atom Thank you! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed both the puzzle and the music :]
@Libbybapa Glad you enjoyed. Normally I would completely agree with you and in any larger map I would probably use the trigger buttons, but these puzzles are so short that I feel like using the trigger buttons would give away parts of the solution, so I decided against them. Also, I believe it is only the second puzzle requiring timing, for in #9 there was a white surface directly over the button.
@KAKTUS ‡SvK‡ Excellent work :D
@bullfrog Thank you very much for the video! Completely intended. I'm glad you enjoyed
@klaus.sfc01 Nice work solving it so quickly! I'm glad you liked it
@Leomievs Thanks for playing :D Indeed, we are approaching the end rapidly...
bullfrog 5 Apr, 2020 @ 3:32am
This is the way I did it: intended solution ?
