@evil morty Showing Aggro is turned off by default. It can be toggled via F4. Feel free to check out the mod settings to customize some things such as having Showing Aggro be on by default.

@Twilight Sparkle Thanks for the report. The issue should be fixed now in version 1.7.3.

Got this problem when for example the game tries to load back to the lobby when the toggle is on

Thank you for solving this problem. :D

@Lemuro

Thanks for the information. It was very helpful. It seems that the real problem is Klei's scheduler code as it gave both our threads the same id, which makes us stop each others threads(With the KillAllThreadsWithID function). The issue should be fixed now in v1.7.1.

@sauktux

I have this problem when using the "Planter - Test Version" mod. When I press Ctrl + Plant Key, it doesn't cause any problems, but pressing Plant Key to start planting causes "Show Aggro" to fail.
At first I thought it was a compatibility problem between the two mods, so I told the author of "Planter - Test Version" about it, but when he tested it, sometimes Show Aggro doesn't work even if "Planter - Test Version" is not turned on.
I hope this helps. :)

@Lemuro

I haven't run into that issue yet. Does this issue occur frequently? If so, could you please check if the issue still persists when all other mods are disabled? Information of when the problem occurs(Reproduction steps) would also be appreciated.

@sauktux

This mod sometimes doesn't work, and even using the on/off shortcut doesn't restore it.
My words may be a little vague, but can you fix it? :)

I've avoided showing player aggro due to the fact that it's very rarely needed. Another thing is that I am using labels as my way of displaying things and if I start modifying the player label, then it might cause problems with other mods such as Show Nicknames. If you really don't want to accidentally attack creatures like Glommer or Walls, then I recommend you get a mod which would improve the force attack targetting such as Improved Force Attack,Advanced Controls. I might add the option to display player aggro in the future if I switch over to using widgets as my main way of displaying things, yet I'm still not too familiar with how they work.
Anom 30 Apr, 2020 @ 8:57pm
If possible, could you add this option?
Anom 30 Apr, 2020 @ 8:56pm
@sauktux Thank you you helped a lot.

One question: is it possible to show who I'm going to attack too?

For example I have the gloomer, koalefant, hounds all close to each other, if I force the attack I can attack the gloomer unintentionally for not knowing my aggro.

How can I know my aggro?
When I hold the CTRL attack button, do I show who I'm going to attack?
sauktux  [author] 30 Apr, 2020 @ 10:28am
I've added the option to enable Show Aggro and Show Leader by default in Version 1.6. Thanks for your feedback.
Anom 28 Apr, 2020 @ 1:30pm
How can I leave it on by default? I don't want to have to manually activate all games.

I want to leave ON automatically without using a key

good,it‘s great when i play reforged.
ruberoid 11 Apr, 2020 @ 11:40am
good mode
sauktux  [author] 9 Apr, 2020 @ 5:01am
I agree that updating the label every frame is very ineffective, but I'm not really familiar with dirty events and I'm somewhat new to coding + modding. Doing a periodic task is currently the only way I know how to update things frequently. But thanks for the suggestion.
CunningFox 8 Apr, 2020 @ 11:46am
Cool mod! But I'd suggest you to get the dirty event of a netvar and then update the label rather then updating it every frame

The mod should work with all modded and non-modded mobs, but I only adjusted the label height of the Forge enemies and non-modded DST mobs. Unless I find a way to get mob height, all modded mobs will have their label on an odd height(not over the mob's head in most cases) if I don't manually adjust it.
akontio 7 Apr, 2020 @ 5:27pm
safe to assume it works with modded mobs too?
sauktux  [author] 5 Apr, 2020 @ 4:54pm
The labels should appear for all mobs in the Forge, however some enemies might have a label below their body due to the difference in mob heights.
Twilight Sparkle 5 Apr, 2020 @ 3:34pm
This is a great idea of a mod, good job, btw would this also work with the Forge enemies too?
