That is so cool, i wish there was something like this but as a psycast. Finally, the social skill can be used in warfare directly.

@Disgusting: I removed the incompatibility with the main LTF mod, since the mindcontrol is not in it anymore.

@Shodan2072 I added a mod setting to multiply the radius as you suggested.

I also :
- added some visual effects
- made slugs immune to bad thoughts when using the bench
- added translation files
- made sounds work again

Could you add a setting which allows us to multiply the range?

Only being able to control a target if they're practically sitting on the machine, isn't very useful.

I very much recommend making all defnames very unique: GG_MC_Bench, as an example ;)

You might make the work at the bench unpleasant for all non-slugs (negative thought)?

I had no idea there are so many FTL mods; this is great!

You could simply not care about the incompability in the mod list. Is it allowed? As said before, I dont know if definitions will overlap. Not sure how the game would go. You could test it with a new colony in dev mode, then go back to your old save if things go well.

To remove the incompability, you can go there :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\294100\2049822320\About\About.xml

and remove

<incompatibleWith>
<li>goudaquiche.lighterthanfast</li>
</incompatibleWith>

@disgusting There is a less deep version of the mind control bench in LTF. I am making stand alone versions of all the things that are in LTF, and this mod is one of them. Technically it's not imcompatible, but definitions may overlap each other. I dont want mod users to have 2 entries for each building, 2 entries for the research.

The mod choice screen is claiming that this mod is incompatible with lighter than fast, I am going to leave it uninstalled for now, but is there an explanation for this? Are this mods features included in the base LtF mod?

@HawnHan Since there is an overlay that works with the south view, I did not want to waste it. I could still disable the overlay for other views. Anyway making a texture takes time, and I am working on another mod right now. I will copy your suggestion in a dedicated topic to remember.

@aeth: I just added some mod settings. You are now able to control enemies up to 20x more time. You can also choose to lower the chances to get caught by other factions when you cast an ability.

Yes it is compatible.
However since the mod is new, it is likely there will be bugs. Try to not save when a mind state is applied upon someone and you should be safer when I will update the mod.
