If time and interest have gotten away from the author - lord knows life is complicated - I might be interested in adopting this mod and its vanilla equivalent. From a glance through the files there doesn't seem to be that much that needs to be done, other than the issues with giant class ships reported here and on the base version.

giants build instantly and can't be merged with fleets, is there a way to fix that?

Since last patch you can build the prototype dread in an instant and you can build it infinity i think this is unwanted ?

The only thing I noticed when I played the Real Space version was the Corvettes have a really high price, think one of the components was much higher in then in should have been. That was back in 3.5, havent tried it in 3.6

Confirmed. Lvl 4 reactors at game start.
As temp fix, Zeus Cannon reactors in file 00_utilities_sdreadnought_reactors.txt should be modified (restrilctions like 'prerequisites = { "tech_*', as for dreadnought reactors in same file, should be added).

Can confirm that all corvettes that you start off the game with start with reactor lvl 4 and 5 and cost 1000 alloy to build. Thanks for the awesome mod, i cant wait till it gets updated, hope this info helps!

Greetings, sorry to report that this mod for some unexplained reason increases the cost of Corvettes by a factor of 10 (almost a 1000 alloy) in the latest version of Stellaris

simple when i 'click' on a gas giant it does not get selected. It is perfectly possible that some other mod is blocking it. Same for plant cracker.

I agree. Its what I would want from the kilostructures of gigastructures. Things that are actually available early but suitably balanced. An alternative to investing in your planets.

Actually, I tried it with just RealSpace (latest 3.8 version) and I do not think it works anymore :( List of super structures shows up in the construction ship menu, but it is impossible to build them because no orbit shows available. Only Prototype Site and Orbital Defense structures show available orbit :( Too bad, it would be nice early game addition to megastructures...

confirmed This works from the other superstructures thread.
go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\2050440028\common\megastructures

open each file for the megastructures and change "colonizable_planet = yes/no" - with "habitable_planet = yes/no"

leave yes/no as whatever it is.

Any idea how the Giant ship from this interacts with shipset mods like Machine Shipset ? I assume all shipsets use the provided mesh.
Also, was this version only necessary when Real Space changed the scale of systems? I.e. base RS doesn't do that anymore; only with RS system scale.

I've loved this mod before but I have't played/modded Stellaris in a while. I'm rusty :)

That would probably require a whole new set of placement rules.
Hence it would require me to make a different mod.

If you want to, you can make one yourself. I unfortunately don't have the time :)

can we get more compatibility with void dwellers if it's to much of a hassle it's ok but i really wanted to do challenge where i don't colonize planets and purge colonized one's and only accept other void dwellers but most of these require you to have a planet

i wanted to use this to for a challenge that i came up with but soon realized this doesn't really work unless you have planets. very sad.:steamsad:
